FANTASTIC

P8041871It was an amazing long week-end for all of us as children travelled from one home to another and then spent three days with Grandma and Grandpa Carol.

Haiti the dog was also transported and was very happy to see Sandra when she arrived in the morning yesterday with
Sandel and Cameron.  So nice of them to come over and visit us.

When they first arrived dad and I greeted them in the pool and that was the last place we left them.

Theresa is anxious to drive them to Abbotsford Airport in time for their flight home.

Morgan is learning to do handstands in the water as well as on land.
P8041884
Haiti enjoys being beside Carol.

So once again things were the way it always works out in the end.

Just the way it was meant to be.

A happy family having fun.

I have learned that it maybe a good idea to take my sunglasses off when I take pictures and maybe even wear my glasses.
Thank you Sandra for the advice and bringing us a soaker hose a great fantastic way to water.

Haiti was on guard first thing in the morning barking at the racoons trying to come over the fence in to our yard.  The crows were also flying around about making an awful racket.

It was so hot in our room last night dad and I were tempted to sneak into the pool at Sandra's.  We are very quiet swimmers and do not splash at all.

Sunday dad and I went to church to find out the true meaning of Israel is to mean chosen to be a nation not of warriors but worshipers who will struggle with God, like Jacob did.  I believe that this is a struggle or the path that I am on.  This is a humbling thought for us all.  Many questions and no answers.

Dad and I hurried to Tssawwassen after church to see Ben at the skate board park where there was a contest.  There were some very cool dudes there.  Ben enjoyed it even when he did not win.

We stayed to watch some baseball and Carol and Panteli wanted us to stay for supper but the heat and our age made us too tired.  I know I felt bad but we have to admit we are getting old.

There will always be questions that call to us as seekers
who if we are open will feel the touch of the Holy Spirit.
Answers to prayers that are simple conversation with God
have the potential to transcend logical explanations.

I am thankful for the gift of curiosity!  !  I am thankful for all the good years we have had!

Susan and Keith take a time out to watch,

I have a few more pictures but I did not get everyone as some because of the sun I could not see what I was taking.  It was lots of fun to be with our family and seeing everyone have a "wild" time.  We enjoyed a fine feast for supper supplied with old favorites spiced up.

I nearly drowned but at least I had my new bathing suit Sandra supplied for me.  It fit perfectly.

Dad had some rubber shoes that Carol brought for him so he could walk in the pool.

I came home and had some of my new tea with biscuits and a book! !  That is about as wild as I get ! !

We were practicing good brain therapy,
be yourself and be spontaneous
laugh at yourself
be inventive
be flexible
be adaptable

Sunday morning not a cloud in the sky and we areoff to church after Haiti and I have a walk!

LOOKING BACK

Everything looked perfect and I had thought Morgan would sit up and have tea with us but of course playing with Justice and Ben in the pool was more fun.

Parties are always fun at Sandra and Randy's with their pool, beautiful yard and good food and drinks.

Cannot wait to see Cameron and Sandel.

YES THE DOG HAITI CAME TOO! !

P7311789
The plan was for Carol to take the children and the dog Haiti too.
We talked it over and it would be difficult to have her in their very small apartment.  Carol and Panteli are taking the children out to the aquarium so they would be out all day and she would definitely bark at any noise.

We  talked it over and decided Haiti could stay with us and I need not walk her because she can go in and out our French doors.  Seemed like a plan but in the morning as soon as Haiti saw me putting my shoes on she got all excited.
P7311786
I enjoyed my morning walk with her which was a little short.  It warms up so quickly you really have to go early.P8011791

P7311790 A happier Ben! !

Looking at these  pictures  I am thinking it is amazing to have such a lovely young grama!

I would do more in the garden if I could garden in my bathing suit and swim in a pool when I get hot like Sandra does.  Another young looking grama!  Instead I take a nap.

Cannot wait to see Cameron and Shandal.  They arrive to-night.

Enjoyed a visit with Jane and Geof as they were in the area, had to put Haiti in the dining room quickly when Jane came to the door.  Haiti certainly barks at people and is unpredictable how she will act.

Dad and Geof had a walk in the Water shed Park which he thoroughly enjoyed.  Too bad we do not see them so much any more but life changes and so must we.

ONCE UPON A TIME

Very early in the morning of another very warm day.
For me (maybe not for the Aussie’s.)
P7311784

Dad and I head off to the library for some children’s books.

I had fun finding and reading them.  I love the illustrations.  Now wouldn’t anyone rather read “How to wash a Woolly Mammonth” or “The Snatchabook”  Who is stealing all the stories.  Morgan read this one to me.

Then I suggested a car wash to keep them busy.  Well it turned out a bit of a disaster.  Soon they were squirting one another as kids will always do.  Morgan sure did not like getting wet but I think Ben could take it fine!
P7311781

P7311779
Everyone pitched in except the oldies to set the table and eat outside.

Sandra dropped by as she was in the neighborhood and kindly offered to take the munchkins over to her house for a swim.  That made them all happy especially Ben who had been acting his age and acting bored.
P7311782
P7311776
Kimberly left about 3 as she is going away to Kelowna on Friday.
Carol and Panteli  came and picked up the children around 7:30
Should I go back to reading “Your Brain is Evolving”?  or read about “Elf The Eagle”?
I do not really expect an answer.
