It was not easy for dad and I to move in here. The truth was we did not have the energy to look after ourselves. We did not know how we would fit in with playing Bingo and keep moving with morning activities. Dad was soon meeting people and doing what he likes best to do which was talking and laughing with others. He was well liked here and we all miss him.
I am making new friends and enjoying my life here. I do enjoy visits with Rick and Spenser. It was fun to visit Carol and Panteli at their home. I miss her but I thankful she is keeping well, I will see her again in March. Sandra and Randy have now left for EDMONTON. Randy has a costume so he can go trick or treating with the children. Sandra way go with them or stay home and visit with Stephen.
A group of old friends from Colebrook are coming to visit me tomorrow. I am really looking forward to them all. It is always easy to be with old friends.
It is getting cold here in the mornings and is feeling like fall. Hopefully the sun will come out.

Yes, Dad could chat up a storm with just about anyone. I often envied him that ability.
Please don't forget to leave out both sheets on the bed tomorrow morning.
I will be at the White Rock specialist dentist tomorrow. Not feeling too happy about it!

I am up early getting ready for our flight today. We will make the most of our short trip and see everyone we can. I am glad that you have some good memories of Dad there at Fleetwood.

Hello Beth. I was happy to find that you are blogging again. It is so good to find out that you are happy in your new home and are meeting new people. You can be as busy as you want to be with all the activities going on. Also not having to cook and clean, just enjoy life. It warms my heart because I know how you were struggling before. I think of you often.

Grandpa was always very good at connecting with people. All of my friends always enjoyed visiting with him And you.
I am looking forward to seeing Randy’s Halloween costume. We are dressing up as cowboys and trick or treating in our neighborhood. Will you have trick or treaters?

Lovely to get all the visits in. And lovely to have so many memories of Grandpa. He really could tell wonderful stories. Making friends is great and helps create more memories. I got Cameron's cold over Halloween. Was not very fun!
