LIFE LESSONS

Yes every day we have lessons to be learned and things to be appreciated.  Walking around the pond restores a deeper appecation of nature.  It is cold again today. very cold.  Rick has been popping in and out to give us a hand with things.

I think Spenser is okay with Haiti hanging around.  We may walk together today again.  Garbage day  comes around so quickly  and here it is again today.

I have been comparing religion and spirituality.  I certainly started out in life believing in the truth of religion.  I like the truth that is apart of spirituality that is an awareness of our imperfections. Religion wants to make us perfect and create a belief that what we believe is the only way to truth.  This may be called dogma.

I like the ruth that spirituality makes us aware of our imperfections.  We are all very human and we make mistakes which will teach us the lessons we need to learn.A time to rediscover our own weaknesses and our need for a higher power to forgive us and to restore us every day,

We learn from listening to stories and sharing our faith with humility and grace/

We are thankful for the help both Rick and Laura give us,
Thankful for Sandra too.

Yes, I think Spenser and Haiti are fine together. But I will keep Haiti on the leash for now when they are together. She can be unpredictable. But soon enough they will be fine together without either being on a leash, I'm very sure of it. They hardly react to the other's presence. And will slowly continue to get habituated to the presence of each other.

I ended up, after wondering up and down the aisles for a while, buying an odd type of mouse-trap at London Drugs. I had never seen this style of trap before. Hopefully Laura can help you get it working. I think that reading the instructions might be necessary.

Also, maybe Laura can help to stick the fabric pads onto the dog step-ladder? The fabric pads are in the box.

Love,

Rick

How is Larry after the fall? I bet he is sore. It can happen so easily. So nice to have Rick nearby to give you a hand with things.
We are into full blown winter now. Snow is getting deep. Temperatures are colder. -13 tonight. It is so beautiful. Snow resting on the branches and grasses.
Ken keeps busy shovelling snow and working with the wood. We burn wood all day now. Have an efficient stove.
Wishing you and Larry a lovely evening. Love to you both, Nancy
