SADNESS

Even the children looked sas and thoughtful.
Our church has supported many causes like the food bank
and the Hub store where we supply clothing and food for needy children.

As I looked on the faces of dear friends I could see the sadness in their tearful eyes.  We have dreadedthis day but it had to come.  We will all be going to different places but there will be plans being made to bring us together in some way.

A lot of old friends came to visit and brought to mind many good memories.  We have all touched the lives of others and wewill carry these lasting friendships with us.

Lots of hugs and laughter and reminiscing.

A excellent lunch was enjoyed as we sat around our round tables sharing our future hopes and concerns and uncertinty.

"Each of us has the right and the responsibility to asses the roads which lie ahead.

"Assess the roads which lie ahead and those over which we have travelled
and if the road ahead seems uninviting then we need to gather our resolve
and carry only the necessary baggage and step off that road into another direction,"
Maya Angela

We sensed the sadness even without speaking about  knowing that all good things and even some bad things come to an end.

The good thing is that even though church may end the memories dont get taken away.

We had another busy day taking the kids to a birthday party at a trampoline park. Continued to work on our painted rocks.

Chad had spent Saturday night at a party in Ottawa and came home to cook us all a nice supper as it is his moms birthday on Thursday. She is staying with them as she is in the middle of moving and her new place is not painted yet.

It is supposed to be sunny today but calling for rain on Halloween night. Fingers crossed the rain is in the morning.

Sounds great to be busy Sandra.

It is a bit to quiet here for us.

Dad had his bike ride after church and I had my walk with Spenser.

Monday while on an afternoon walk before dinner time daisy and I crossed paths with a lady and her two dogs. She stopped to let us pass and as we walked by she lost control of on leash and the dog ran over to us and attacked daisy. It was very traumatic and daisy has been at the emergency vet since monday night. Our hearts are broken but mending the more we know she is being healed. She is scheduled for surgery today as the incident caused her abdomen to tare and she has two hernias. It's all very sad and a weird scary divine intervention because they also found a polyp on her stomach and intestine. So they are going to test it for cancer. Daisy is a member of our family and she is missed big time at home. Send her some good love and healing energy. She will be back to her loving happy self I hope soon!
