CLOUDS

Clouds have produced the rain.
Our gardens do need the rain.
I wi;; wait and see if it shops before taking Spenser.

Yesterday it felt like I had a cloud of doom over me.
This feeling left when Randy and Sandra came in the door with supper.
I was so thankful for their support
during this time.

My day began with a lady running into the Park asking if I had seen a black lab.
I had not and I would have like to support her look for her dog.

I realize that I need to be more aware of what is happening around me.

I felt better when the doctor who did dad's test phoned
saying it was not cancer but could change in twenty years.
That made us laugh.

The next step will be to talk to his surgeon on  Tues.

We have felt the support of our family everyday.

Yes Ken,
That is what we are doing.

Waiting.

The very costly digestive pills are helping.

Have fun at the basketball game.

How is your diet going.?

Love mom

Yeah, great news it's not cancer. Jasmine's basketball game was a disaster. Jasmine and her teammates are first-timers. the other team had 5 All-Star players, so of course, we lost. The girls tried their best all you can ask I guess. They really need extra practice.
Not doing great on my diet, gained 2 kgs. I see the Dr tomorrow about my knee.

Anzac Day here in Australia.

So happy to hear its not cancer. I hope grandpa can find some more help with his digestive issues. We are having a cool weekend, but the sun is so warm when it shines and the wind is low. How is Spencer doing with his meds?

now that is good news! not cancer! I am so very happy for you both. It is agonizing waiting isn't it? it sounds like he will have to have surgery, please keep us posted!
I am hoping that my post will work thhis time. so many times I have written on your blog and I cannot post it. I had my gmail account hacked a while ago and gave up my google account and gmail account. I have an iPhone and iPad so don't need it. But I need the google account to sign in here! So I now have one and will try it today.

Love to you both,
Nancy

Yay, it worked on my desk top! Now to see if it will work on my iPad.
I am glad that Spenser is feeling better...such a worry for you. Poor little guy and they cannot tell you what is wrong.
We are going to have to take Pedro in for a teeth cleaning. His are not good and he likely will lose some. He is only 5, soon to be 6. we thought he was a year older but I looked at his records and see he was born in 2015. Our local bet had a vaccination clinic and she told us that he needs to have his teeth cleaned. I had Max;s teeth cleaned and he lost 13 and it cost !,200. WOW. I sure hope Pedros don't cost that much!

I hope you are staying home and being really careful. Have you had your vaccine? I would think that you have, but even with just one shot you can still catch Covid. It wouldn't be as bad, but you can still get sick.

The variants are causing so much trouble here in Manitoba. The younger people are catching it and it is gatherings that are spreading it like wildfire. our premier just announced today that no one can come to your house or even in your yard..you cannot sit out on the deck with friends or family...you can meet in a public space apparently but all masked up. Only those who live at your house can be there.
this is because a lot of the poorer people and the aboriginal peoples are having trouble following the guidelines...large families who visit and have parties etc. Immigrants too with large families.
This is where Covid is mainly spread. The poorer areas in Winnipeg are able to get the vaccine at age 18 and up and people who work there can also get it.

The reserves up north are hit especially bad..although they vaccinated many of the people. Quite a few refused it though. They actually are on the second shots now.
We got our shots last thursday. Both Ken and I and we had no reaction except a slightly sore arm for a day.

I did a huge grocery shopping at super store...curbside pickup, last week so we are all stocked up for a month or so. We love staying home together and soon the gardening season will be upon us so we will be really busy!

So please be careful. Always take a mask with you when walking and put it on if you stop to talk and stand a good distance away. Don't let people pet Spenser....they can have the virus on their hands..many people don't realize this.

Sending hugs and love,
Nancy

We have had our shots.
We wear our masks and stay away from others.
We are slowing down so we stay home a lot.
