I am surprises at each new flower that is blooming.
We had a visit from our very old friend Glen, husband of Cathy.
Yes we had a lot of catching up to do. He has had some health problems too. This was a surprise as he has always been so active and healthy. All the girls are doing well as is his son Cole. We have know this family since the youngest was born. Now they are married except the youngest with children of their own. Good memories. Tragedy turned out better than anyone expected when the run away daughter uses her experiences to reach other young girls as she tells her story.. She is now a very brave young women.
Thankfully good can come from the bad experiences we all have experienced.
Carol and Panteli were surprised when they opened the door to come in, with hands full of food. to met Glen on his way out.
I was surprised when was able tp cut the lawn. Determination helps. Dad finished the last tiny corner.
Rick is taking the bus into town to meet friends for supper. I noticed he was looking very dressed up.
Thankful for yesterday.
Thankful that that we each can do our own thing as we face each new day!

So true! life is full of suprisess, good and bad, part of what makes life worth while!

No surprises happening around here lately.
Guess I will buckle down and get our taxes finished this weekend.

We did not have any Oilers hockey all week, there was postponed games because Montreal players had Covid issues. Looking forward to watching todays game. I guess they will replay the three montreal games near end of season or something. Hoping for some good wins. We have snow here again, not much, but it has been snowing on and off all week. Today it has stuck a bit. Gloomy skies.
