THE CEMENT

I have decided our cement driveway does not need any more nose to nose inspections .  The driveway is fine but my shoulder is a pain.

I am happy to be home and now the family is exhausted taking good care of me/

Carol did a boot camp work out trying to get me to the bathroom.

WHAT A FAMILY

WELCOME HOME, BETH! I am so glad that you are giving up those nose to nose inspections of the drive-way......they are just too hard on the shoulder and arms! haha..that is you, always putting a sense of humour in everything!

Well, what an adventure you have been on! It is good to know that you are home now ....it is such a wonderful feeling to be home after a stay in the hospital isn't it? Good for Carol, helping you get around..you must be careful not to fall.

There are health aids you can rent from the local seniors help centre...such as raised toilet seats, wheel chairs and walkers, crutches etc. In some cases you can just borrow them. We had to do that for Carl's various surgeries. There also is meals on wheels, which my cousin uses...he will be 90 in November and lives alone.

I have greatly missed you daily blogs and am so glad you are home and hopefully they will resume!

We are having a thundery day....it has been rumbling all day, with times of close lightening and loud crashes that shake the dishes. The thunderstoms like to ride up the lake and we seem to get more of them than anywhere else. It was a good day to have a watercolour class because the extra humidity kept the paper wetter longer so we could play longer too! We painted the northern lights and the beach. It has been very hot here too, with highs near 30 for a few days.

Have a good sleep tonight, in hour own bed...won't that be wonderful after those hard hospital beds.

Love to everyone there,

NANCY

Glad your home Mom. Thanks to all the local family for helping out. We went to see the MINIONS movie last night. The kids are on school holidays for two weeks. Melina and I are both working tonight , the kids will spend the day at Nona's. I see the dental surgeon tomorrow and will get an idea if he bone graft worked.
