Good to see you writing on your blog, Beth. I was thinking it would be difficult for you to type using only one hand. It is good to hear that you are receiving good care from Larry!
I was in Winnipeg today with a friend. We went to the art store and I bought supplies for my upcoming classes this summer. Susan is taking art classes with me so she bought some too at a 25% discount, so she was happy and so was I. We had lunch in a funky restaurant called "The Underground Cafe".....and it was in a basement of a building and had art all over the black walls and loud music. The chairs and tables were all odds and ends and the food was FABULOUS. I had a veggie burger and salad...the burger was called a sun burger and was moist and tasty. I felt like an "old hippie"! Susan used to work downtown for a law office and often walked there to eat lunch. She knows all the interesting places in Winnipeg.
It was very smokey here due to the forest fires in Saskatchewan and Alberta. The air quality is poor and many people have to use their puffers. It bothers my eyes and throat. I feel sorry for those who live in the fire area and are suffering and some are losing their homes to the fires.
Well Beth I hope you feel better each day and will soon be back to writing your blog,
