WALK A BOUT

Saturday was a busy day.  Early morning Ken and I walked around the block and greeted neighbors on the way and they commented how well I was doing.

Later in the afternoon we, Ken and I  drove over. to the pool party at Sandra and Randy's house for a pool party.  We were the first to arrive and the pool looked so cool and lovely.  Ken was in the pool immediately joining Sandra floating around on her blow up  air mattress.

Randy was doing a few last minute tasks.

One by one family arrived and we were all in a party mood.  Good food and good laughs.

Today is Sunday I have my computer working.  Sandra has arrived and Ken made breakfast for the three of them, after shopping for food.

Again I am reminded how important family is to us and how they continue to give my life purpose and meaning.   time of re establishing family closeness!
When you are not well it is easy to get caught up in your own pain..
So good to get out and just enjoy family.
I always like to think things happen for a reason beyond our knowing and has the potential for growth.

Now, don't forget. If you do not shut down your computer properly and the message comes up again just choose start normal.

Randy and I are relaxing and enjoying the left overs, specifically Kenny's salad with the blue cheese dressing and the steak from Theresa.

Putting on these parties may be a lot of work but the left overs are always fantastic!

Keep up the good work rehabilitating mom, you look better every day.

Wonderful, just wonderful to hear you are doing so well and have so much help and encouragement fro your family! Those Bennetts are made out of good stuff! Gosh you even were able to go out to a pool party...that is wonderful Beth! I am so glad. Now be sure to take it easy and not overdo things or take risks...be careful!

The food and fun at the pool party sound like lots of fun. Great pics. it is nice to see everyone.

It is another stormy day...with sudden torrential downpours and unstable air. There were large waterspouts along the lake, near us, and they turned in to tornadoes when they hit land. Luckily nothing was damaged. We managed to BBQ chicken for supper and it was good...another downpour came along just as we finished up.

have to go and help Carl with the dishes,

take care my friend,

Love, Nancy
