I trust you have managed to recover from all the visting. It is always wonderful to see everyone, and of course miss the ones who are not able to make it.

Lovely photos Beth! Your family parties are wonderful always, filled with so many family members all smiling! Alba is so darned cute isn't she...such chubby cheeks too!

We had our first family dinner too...just 5. Ken and I and my sons, Bob and Mark and Marks finance. We have been very careful for 18 months now and this was our first party!
Hopefully we can do it again at Christmas time.

We closed up the garden and put it to bed for the winter, it is always hard to do, especially when there hasn't been a frost yet and the flowers are still blooming. But it is getting close to frost at night now so it is coming! With snow not far behind.

one of our budgies has been ill for about 6 weeks. I think she has a tumor and she is pretty weak now. I called our vet and she is going to euthanize her on Friday. We still have Tweety and he needs friends so I bought two budgies on kijiji and we will pick them up in winnipeg on Saturday. We are excited. I am thinking of getting a pair of English Budgies too...we love birds and they are easy to care for. The new budgies are trained to go to people unlike Tweety who wont sit on our finger.

I am so glad you and Spenser are able to walk to the park now...I bet Spenser is too! it is good that Larry comes and picks you up too...keeps and eye on you both.

I see it has been quite cold out at the coast...brrrr almost winter temperatures. We have had such warm and sunny days here but a big storm is moving in tomorrow with lots of rain. We will have an indoor day. Usually we work in the gardens in the afternoon and go for a walk with Pedro. we are hoping Pedro is recovered from his bleeding ulcer...we took in a poop sample to the vet and there was no blood but we have to keep an eye on it.

I wish you and Larry and lovely evening,

Love to you both,
Nancy

Looks like fine.

Good photographs. I'm sure the food was great.

Maybe next year I can come down to the Vancouver area again.

Love
Rick
