This is a picture from the day before.
think I may have left my camera at Carol and Panteli's.
We were a different group with Ron and Donna and Sherry. Carol was a wok.
Alba was held by everyone and was a happy little girl until I took a turn at hold her. I was concerned because she was heavy and I was awkward. She was not happy so she went back to mom.
It was fun to be with more of the family and to see the happy faces.
We are the only ones that seem to be aging.
My life is so good I almost feel guilty hearing about lives being affected by Covid.
We are anticipating more gatherings.
Thanksgiving at Sandra and Randy's.
Life is beautiful when we keep in touch.

How wonderful that Kim and Hamlet and baby were able to come and visit! They look great and the baby is so cute! miss chubby cheeks!
We too will be getting together for Thanksgiving, but with just our immediate family. There are restrictions on still as to how many people and families. I think just two families. They are expecting Manitoba to get hit hard with the fourth wave of Covid, whhich has begun a few weeks ago. Mainly the Mennonite people who live in the south eastern part of the province who refuse to get the vaccine although there are quite a few people from around here who are anti vaxxers. But they are getting ostracized...which is what they deserve!
I am so happy you have a good housekeeper...that must be a huge help to you both! Less work and worry.
Good to hear that you are getting out for walks to the park with Spenser...you are healing. Good for you Beth!
We have been having summer weather and had to turn on the air conditioner yesterday...unbelievable for October. Lovely weather which allows us to wrap up the gardens. We have so much produce...tomatoes, butternut squash and acorn squash and carrots and potatoes. We will be cooking them for the thanksgiving dinner! It will be here at our house. Shelley, Marks partner will help me. I find making big dinners pretty tiring these days.
Ken has gone to help his old neighbours close up their cottage for the winter. They are older than us and rather frail. My best friend is going to come for a visit after she goes to the quilting class and then I teach my 70 year old piano student how to sight read music! He is pretty good.
A busy day for us, but that is how we like it! We had the chimney sweep here this morning to clean our wood stove. We use is every day once the weather gets colder. We haven't had to turn on the baseboard heaters at all since early last spring,. the weather has been that nice!
Wishing you a great day and love to you both,
Nancy
We have 1850 new covid cases overnight, a new record. still hoping for only two more weeks of lockdown, maybe 3 !!!
nice and sunny today, cool morning then a top of 21C this afternoon. Are you guys going to watch the canucks game today?
Ken
Hope you find your cameral. Looks like you remembered how to put the pictures on at least, so that is good.
Sandra
Ken, what is the population of Melbourne? That is an awful lot of cases for overnight! Manitoba had 98 and over a third were on the northern reserves and another third down in the Mennonite part of MB...south east where the really religious ones are defiant to the vaccine but 7 died overnight from there. It is running rampant through families. but they think God will save them!
Beth, I will comment on another of your posts...I am 'catching up'!
