HILARIOUS!

Yes our little Astrid is becoming quite the character.  She is hilarious.  It is a good thing her daddy has a tight grip on her.  It is hard ti take pictures as she moves around so much.

Auntie Carol came to help us care for her.
She does not make strange with any of us and does not even notice her daddy leave.
She crawls all over the place to see what grand pa is doing.
She can be serious too.
What a lucky girl to have such caring parents.

Panteli arrives just as she is getting ready to leave.
She falls asleep in the car on the way home.
Maybe they were able to pick out a Christmas tree.

Dad talks to another of his good friends who is having a difficult time with his health problems and also with his wife's failing mental health.  Dad has a good visit with him on the phone and cheers him up.  I remember some of the hilarious dates we went on with Don and his girl friend.  It is good to remember the fun times.

Later in the evening dad went over to the Safeway to pick up his eye drops and coming out of the door of the store the wind almost blew him over.  It is going to be very windy and rainy for the next few days.  Trying to hold on to an umbrella makes me feel like a Mary Poppins.

Trees will be crashing down in the park so not a safe place to be walking or riding a bike.

It has been a fun day.

Hiw fun for you guys to enjoy an afternoon with Astrid. I always enjoy seeing them explore as they learn new things. Cameron and I received your Christmas cards and it was a wonderful message to cheer me up. I caught a moni cold that Cameron brought home from work. I appreciate your words and kindness. Loving peace. We were going to give you guys a call this weekend. Maybe tomorrow. I hope your feeling better from the dental work. And I think the wind made it's way to us. We were nearly blown over on our wall with daisy.

Glad you had a good time with Astrid and so great that you could take her for a while. She is such a delightful little girl, as is Ophelia. Craig and Leah sure make beautiful babies. Our eldest granddaughter Emma is here with us this weekend. She is 17 now and still wants to come hang out with us so we feel pretty blessed about that. We plan to do some baking together today.
I love that you are still in contact with people from your dating days. So many people lose touch with those who were special in our lives at one time. It is important to keep people close in our hearts.
Take care,
Germaine.

Our power went out at 10 last night and then again at 5;30 this morning. There was no power at pilates but I still went.

Now to do the final things to get ready for the party tonight and shopping for tommorrow.

Astrid seems like a little charmer.

It is hard to believe that Lucas is an uncle to Leah's daughters.

Speaking of uncles, I have tried to contact Christopher but he is not replying.

Love,

Rick
