JAZZY

"How can I live this life in a way that suffering becomes a source of life". Jean Vanier

The only way is through learning and growing and seeing the love that is always with us when we love and care for each other.  Discovering hope when all seemed hopeless.

Our sermon was about the conversion of St.Paul.

There are many ways we experience conversion in our lives.  It can be as simple as finally learning to like vegetables.  We may convert to a different religious group or denomination..  Or it may be like the spiritual conversion that St. Paul had when we fell off his horse, blinded by a bright light and a voice that would change his goal from persecution Christians to becoming one of them.

Dad missed a good sermon because he was not up to going to church,

He felt better so that in the afternoon we went back to church to a Jazz concert.  Four very talented musicians, a beautil singer with am amazzingvoicel that sang accompanied by a base guitar, a drum and a guitar.  Every one was extremely talented and the music was inspiring and soul stirring.

We were both thrilled and honored to be part of the audience.

It ended up as a jazzy day after all.

That is good you guys were able to enjoy your day after dad fealt better. I did some school in the morning then we went to Home Depot to get a couple of cupboards to put up in the garage. Everything is still on the floor, nothing has been put away..

Did Paul convert? Hmmmm. I mean this is the sense of all the battles that they had about did gentiles have to convert in order to become followers of Christ and all that stuff.

I was very sick for almost a week. I'm not somewhat better, but not really. Anyway, back at work.

Love,

Rick

Rick so sorry you have not been well.
I hope andpray you will feel better soon.

Yes, Paul converted from being one who wanted to kill
and destroy to one who would give hin life preaching
and teaching others how to live and how to love and
bring a new light into a world of darkness.

Love you
