Our thoughts and prayers are with Aslinn and Tyler today on this their wedding day. A special day for Kenny to be their and have time with each one of his children. Yes our family was excited when they heard the news and considered travelling there. It would be impossible now. Dad and I have been working on the words to send to Hobie to be read out.
They are a very special couple who will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Yesterday was a good day as Carol and Panteli came and brought us supper. We enjoyed good food and happy laughter with Spenser watching us eat and not barking.
Last night was not so good. At one point we were all up even Spenser. I slept in till 6:30 which was good.
Our thoughts and Prayers are with Linda, Larry Olssen's wife, who is having breast surgery today.
She is now the care giver for her husband.
Good to talk to Ken on the phone and then have a long visit with Kim/ She is excited because she has her visa and be going to the Sates early in Sept.
This day has gone by very quickly.

Hopefully Aslinn and Tyler's wedding goes smoothly. Remarkable effort on Kenny's part to get there.

I am slowly getting to know the new mom cat, she is a little fearful and hides under the bed when not with her kittens.

The wedding was perfect. From the Rolls Royce arrival to the last dance of the evening. Aslinn started things with her vows , more like a speech , its was funny sad and very honest . Tyler then said his vows , you could tell they both put a lot of effort into their words.
After the photos the wedding party returned and we had more speeches before dinner was served. Trish did a fantastic speech , made every cry including herself. Jason was Mc ( Tylers step Dad ) he was great and also acknowledged me as Tyler father and for the effort it me to make it. Dinner was served , very welcomed meat , salads and the lot . Very tasty and a great effort by the chefs . more speeches this time Ian Aslinn's father . He was very good as well , old School (he's a retired school teacher ) and thanked the kids for giving us all a bit of positive news in this terriable year. He the proposed a toast to absent family as there was lots of family and friends that couldn't make because the ceremony was capped at 60 guests.

Then came the speech of the night , Hobey , he was so funny and knows his brother so well . If you want a good speech call Hobey , he had us in stiches and in tears as he exposed his big brother ,as a caring loveable soul and protector. Maybe we can get a copy of the speeches??
Wonderful homemade deserts from Aslinn parents neighbours to finish the night off . Some Dancing and the night finished off.
Tyler came back to my motel . I am waiting to join them for breakfast . Then we need to go back to the hall and clean up and put all the tables and chairs away . After that we will go to the Samson vale pub for lunch .
I fly home on Monday , not sure where ill stay tonight .
