GRADUATION

I was so excited I could barely breathe.
this was the best I could do to capture this amazing moment.
We were so proud of you and so happy to be a part of this your special day acknowledging your achievements,  Your optimistic outlook on life has been an inspiration to us and to your friends at school who you have been a great help to continually.

We were inspired just by seeing the fresh and eager faces that graduated with you.  I am reminded that the human spirit is truly resilient and hope is the answer that gives us the passion to keep learning and caring.
You can feel great about your accomplishments!  We feel great about your future!

This day has brought back many memories of special occasions in our family history!

I am sure you had lots of smiles through out the day seeing Kimberly graduate. Do you have a quiet day today to make up for all the activity lately?

We are in Kelowna now for a couple of nights before we head home. We have a lovely little 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the lake. Our drive yesterday was nice, we took the scenic route down to Rocky Mountain house and then through the Ice Fields. It snowed a couple of times but did not stick to the road.

Sandra and Randy
Good for you. Enjoy!
Dad has to get a
knee x-ray.
We may do it today.
It is something we can do on our own time
not having to rush.
That is good.
I am thankful I can rest up today.

Congratulations to Kim!

I'm sure she is very glad you and Dad were able to attend the ceremony!

You know, I've been thinking about what you've reported that the people at the stem cell clinic said and, yes, if the cancer cells and the stem cells turn out to like each other, that could be a real problem.

If Antiques Road show comes to Canada I will try and get them to tell me more about Grandad Bowren's letter opener. Although I hate standing in line.

Love,

Rick

Great photos of Kim's special day! Her friend in the one picture looks a bit sad, though. We are in Boston 2 more nights, then Carol leaves on Saturday for Caymans and my 2 high-school friend pick me up for a road trip through New Hampshire and Maine before I get to my mom's house. xo Panteli

Please tell Kim how pleased I am she graduated with her fine arts degree. she has worked hard to achieve her dreams. Now on to more amazing things in her life.

Your photos really captured the day, Beth. You did a great job of taking them. Kim is glowing isn't she? How exciting for you and Larry to be there to join in all the fun.

We had amazing news too. Carl has worken up and is focusing and able to nod his head to questions. they were going to remove the breathing tube today. I called to talk to his nurse, but she had gone for supper. I will call back. No one knew for sure if he would wake up again. It has been 23 days in a coma. The MRI showed his brain was clear...so we are very thankful for all the prayers from everyone.

The worst thing is I picked up a flu bug and feel terrible. Like I have been run over by a truck. So I cannot go and visit him. But I am hoping on the weekend Mark and I will go, if I feel better. I sure don't want to take any flu bugs to the intensive care unit. I have been sick for three days already...so should be better by then.

My little dog, Max seems to be doing ok with his insulin shots. He has stopped peeing his basket at night. I always line it with plastic and a towel in case. I have to give him shots twice a day, 12 hours apart. It is very expensive..but he means the world to us.

I have to go and lie down, just too sick. Talk to you later, Beth.

I was thinking that the medical association of MB and BC shouldn`t allow doctors to profit from sales of skin care products...somehow it just smell like stinky mackeral! I noticed the doctor who did my skin biopsy ( and missed the cancer ) just built a fancy shmancy new clinic...would have cost her millions I bet. If you weren`t buying skin care products, she had little time for you. Sent in her assistant to give me the biopsy results. I still may lay a complaint about her and I have saved all the paper work.

OK...have a good evening, take it easy now after such a whirlwind of adventures,

Love, Nancy

Wow Nancy amazing news about Karl.

Now look after yourself and I hope and pray you will get over that nasty bug.

I had a restful day.

I find it hard to see on the computer later in the day.
