SHARING

We are here to share our lives and to help one another reach their goals.

"The bond that links your true family is not just one of blood but respect and joy in each other's life."  Richard Back.

Dad and I have put our roots down in the many different places where we have lived.  We have been friends and made many friends.  We have shared many good times and feel very blessed.

Today (Tuesday) we were surprised to get right in to the eye doctor.  Usually it is a long time waiting.  She thinks the little growth in the corner of the eye looks a little better but still wants him to see the specialist.  We are waiting for the appointment.

We had planned to go shopping and visit Vera in Hospice and then on to Carol and Panteli's and Kim's.  We were looking forward to sharing a meal and family news.  Dad started to feel very sick with stomach cramps and diarrhea.  He had a miserable time and was very happy to be at home.

"You do not choose your family  They are God's gift to you
as you are to them."  Desmond Tutu

Sharing some thoughts about family!

Awe, so sorry to hear about Larry having those tummy problems....maybe what happened to me may bring him some relief. I started having the same thing, cramps and Diarrhea and was almost unable to go anywhere due to never knowing what can happen. it started about 8 months ago and I really lost weight...but started taking probiotics...an expensive brand and it healed the bowel. The are called Innovative probiotics. Not acidophilus. It sure would be worth a try for Larry.

We are so busy this time of year. All the summer visitors are here and I am busy teaching twice a week, that is art lessons and one day a week music. Ken is busy too, teaching Tai Chi twice a week. it keeps us young! We do the complete set of Tai Chi every day along with the warm up exercises and it sure keep one in shape. It is a discipline that we stick to. ken has done it for 40 years. He is in awesome shape for 70. I guess that is why we can still be so active.

The weather is hot and humid....with thunderstorms rolling through. We can watch them coming from the north west across the lake. we had a tornado watch, in fact it is still in effect for us until 1am.

Well I am off to relax before bedtime. I wish you a great evening and a good sleep.
Love to you both,
Nancy
