DISAPPOINTMENTS

Early morning duck patrol.

Yesterday the black cat was ready to chase them when a dog chased it.
                                            But they are back today.

Dad was disappointed with the phone visit with his doctor.  He was questioning why we went to get the x-ray before they sent it out.  The reason was we wanted it done before the end of the day.  He acknowledge the old injury that dad is well aware of.  He talked too much about other cases he had treated.  It was like he was talking to some one who did not understand.  He said keep doing what he is doing and get active when you can.

We are disappointed to miss the first pool parties of the season.  We know everyone will have a great time.

Spenser was very disappointed not to get a ride in the car yesterday.  We cannot take him when it is so warm.  He can come for a ride as we buy his dog food.

The news from the States is tragic.  Bitter disappointment and anger over the death of a black man arrested by a white police officer.  The officer was brutal and the man died.

President Trump could have helped ease the situation but he is a coward who only cares about himself.  A very disappointing president.

It is too bad that the phone call with the doctor didn't turn out to be very useful. I suppose if you had waited for the requisition from his office (that never did turn up, I think) then the system, from his point of view, would have worked smoother.

So now there are 4 ducks hanging about? Maybe this is part of climate change? Suburban ducks that don't bother migrating?

I think you are right about your comments about the situation in the United States. A first rate mess, that's for sure.

My health continues so-so.

Love,

Rick

Too bad about your health.

That takes a lot of the fun out of life.

Hope the job situation changes soon.

Yes, we missed having you come over, Spencer would have loved coming by to see everyone. It was just a small gathering though, Mandi and James first, and just as they were about to leave Tasha came. She was about to leave but then I said Kimberly was coming so she stayed for supper. She had wanted to get home to feed Justice but he is not well, his clergies are bad, so he probably was not hungry any ways.

I hope a day at home resting helped dad. But like the doctor said, he does need to keep moving to get the muscles to not tighten up even more. Does he have another physio appointment?

Yes he had another one today.

It will take time and trying to figure how to move etc.

We had a good visit from Kim that cheered us up.

Spenser and I just got in the door and the rain started
and then I heard the thunder.
