TOO MUCH EXCITEMENT

There may be a nest there.
The lady duck is sleep under our tree.
Daddy duck is standing by on guard.
They like the water that is running down our street from some unknown stream.

Dad is on the phone to try and find help.  I run back and forth to make sure they are still around.
Dad's grilled cheese sandwich gets burnt but he eats it anyway.  Our neighbors Amy and Cloie
come out to cheer us on.  They are not afraid afraid of me and come closer.  Should I be wearing my mask and gloves!

We have phoned two rescue places but they will not help at this time.  They may have made a nest close by.

Dad is not in good condition to try to catch them with his sore back from his bike accident,  Actually he had two bad falls and can barely walk.

So I am keeping an eye on them and they are keeping their eyes on me.

We have raccoons in the neighborhood and lots of crows.

I will go and pull some weeds and talk to others who are walking by.

Too much excitement for us two oldies.

Brittany arrives from the Animal Shelter to help/
Concerned neighbors watch,
The bird starts to fly a bit.
We all decide to leave them alone.
they may have a nest.
Sandra also came to help on her way to pick up the mother cat.

Definitely neither Dad nor you should try and catch the ducks.

Burned grill cheese sandwiches can be okay. Just need more ketchup. Ha ha! Ask me how I know!

Love,

Rick

I say just leave them alone and they will fly away when they are ready. Did u see the baby whale stuck in the shark net at the gold coast. A guy broke the law and freed it. He was given a40,000 fine , later the government let him off with a iwarming. We watched it live on the morning news

How can you miss not being about to be out and about when there is so much happening in your neighbourhood!

That was so nice of Brittanee to come on her day off first to my house after I woke her up at 6 am with pictures of bloody vomit then to see about your duck momma.

Cupcake the mom cat is home and not all that happy to be taking 3 medications a day, but it will all work out in the end if she getts rid of any nasty bugs still in her tummy from her days living out in the wild.

Yes, we have a fun neighbor hood.

No we did not see that news about the baby whale stuck in the sharks net.

It would be great to hear more interesting world news not all about this virus.

We are going to check and see if the White Spot is open today.

I will wear my mask and pick up a few groceries.

No worries.

Love mom

That all sounds very exciting! Sandy, you have a new mom cat? You are definitely a very committed foster cat mom. Burnt grilled cheese isn’t so bad after a bit of scraping.
