I know I am looking very old.
It takes an effort to go out to lunch at Brown's/
We park and go and peer in the door.
It does not look open.
As soon as dad opens the door Michelle is there to give him a big hug.
She is so pleased to see us she puts fresh coffee on.
She remembers what we usually order.
It comes quickly nice and hot.
We sit across from the bar.
The friendly young bar tender comes over and cracks joys with us.
So good to feel welcome and to enjoy laughing and talking.
Just like old times.
Evidently we are one of their favorite costomers and they have missed us.
Then we are informed some one has paid ourbill!
Michael brings us the free brownie desert to take home.
Yes it is gluten free,
Michaell walks us to the car.
She hurries back in to light the small candles at each table.
She has lit the light within us.
Life is good.
Randy and Sandra arrive this morning to take our big pile of wood away.
We are invited for supper.
Life is good! !

It is nice to have some perks to being old since there are so many negatives.

That is so kind of the restaurant people to do that. Beautiful. What a great day indeed.
How wonderful to be so cared for by the staff. You must be pretty special!
Glad you had a good day.
Dining in is not an option here, yet. Just take out. We haven’t been eating put in 16 months, since Covid.
Some of the code red restrictions may be lifted on Wednesday, although we seem to be plateauing. In regards to the numbers getting the vaccine and more are getting Covid. So we will see.
We had a close call with idiots lighting off fireworks sat evening. Coukd have started a forest fire here abd with 4,000 people here on 4 sq Miles and only one exit it would have been a disaster. Very worrisome.
Wishing you a great day.
Love, nancy
