Dad has invented the perfect solution to lumber sliding and falling off his car unto to the busy road
He invented a trunk extender to hold the long pieces of lumber secure.
He made another trip and it worked fine and impressed several people at the lumber yard.
I am aware that our life is changing but right now I am so very thankful that all our family is well and happy. When I see them happy and playing in the pool I think "what a good life" we have.
Seely is floating in his own little boat. Simone is swimming beside him.
Simone has jumped in from the diving board onto this little boat thing.
Grandma and Sebastien.
Mary makes a big splash
What a happy group!
Dad was happy to receive good news from the cancer doctor. He will have to return to the eye doctor to get some cream for around his eyes.
We are all aware of the horrendous fires that are burning in our province and all the people who have to leave homes and possessions to drive on dangerous roads with fire all around them.
We are aware that we cannot control nature.
We cannot control the careless actions of others.
We are aware of how hard the fire fighters are working battling the hot flames.
We are aware of the many good people who come forward to volunteer to help these homeless families.
Aware that so much of life is a mystery.
To know God is to learn to be aware of His presence and His love!
Courage and strength flow from His Heart to give strength to the weak lost souls.

Nice blog post grandma. Hope all is well.
It was nice to have you drop in to say hi. It was a long day for everyone what with having to clean and change rooms around. And of course the Alberta people driving and flying.
We plan on doing the bird sanctuary tomorrow then the afternoon at home as the kids still have their naps of course/
Beth, I see those wonderful photos of the children playing and how happy the adults are playing with them in the pool and on the lawn and feel so happy for you and Larry to have such a happy and amazing family. You truly are blessed, but I sure don't have to tell you that do I? You know. What wonderful people and wonderful kids too.
That is good news if Larry just has to use cream around his eyes and not have to have skin cancer surgery. I am still recovering, that is the skin graft is still healing and the 7inch cut on my neck is healing quite well...still a little puckered but the skin is growing well and it will be gone soon. The skin graft on my nose is quite noticeable, but no one seems to say anything so i guess it is fine.
Wow more family coming tomorrow...the pool will overflow!
I taught a large class of 16 today...four kids 10 and up and the rest were adults...at the summer clubhouse along the beach. Really tired tonight but feel so grateful to be able to teach. I love teaching, especially the kids. We painted the beach scene that we saw at the clubhouse...the water with waves rolling in and a sky filled with clouds.
I will sign off now and go to bed and read to unwind.
Have a lovely evening,
Love Nancy
Hope the good weather continues 🌞
