DIZZY LIZZY

The good news is that the bladder pills were making me dizzy.  Yes, I knew I was having dizzy spells and felt dizzy when I fell.  I am not taking these pills now.  I do honestly feel light headed and weak and I do make mistakes keeping off my foot.  I am trying.  I know I annoy especially dad but really I am doing well!

I am dizzy hearing about all the sickness.  Morgan and Theresa have the stomach flu (Morgan) and a sinus infection.  (Theresa)

Rick stood in line at the clinic and he has a lung infection and is on meds.
He is very ill and we are worried.

I am hoping dad is better with ha new diet for diarrhea,

We both have appointments on the 18.  I go to have my hip x-rayed and he goes to the prostate cancer clinic right after me.

Dizzy with delight at the visit with Ophelia and Astra her baby sister, and their mom and dad.

I have more pictures but it is not working and I am dizzy trying.

Ok I just lost almost a whole post...by my clumsy fingers....argh. Sometimes they strike the wrong key and goodbye whatever I am writing at the time.

Soo I was saying how glad I was to see your post again Beth. I really missed you when you were in the hospital!

How are you doing for meals? I remember a post on facebook where you could make about 10 meals for a crockpot in an afternoon. package them up and freeze them and they are at your call! I will look for it. Maybe the girls could get together and do that for you and Larry.

I hope Larry does well with his new diet. The dreaded D makes it so hard for anyone to go anywhere...very debilitating.

Isn't the new little baby a doll? She is so tiny...how is Ophelia doing with the baby coming home? I see where she is helping her mom with the baby and that is good.
Ophelia is growing up so quickly. From baby to little girl now.
Babies are true miracles aren't they? In 9 months this precious little baby is made and born.

I found a new app for my iPad called Acorntv. It is all british shows and they have a good assortment of them. I love the british shows..must be with my English and Irish background. My parents liked them as well. There is one highly rated series called Vera, that I am going to watch...a crime drama. It is in it's 7th season now so there will be lots of shows to watch.
I thought maybe you and Larry would like it too. it is similar to Netflix, you have to subscribe, but can cancel at anytime. Also a free 7 day period of viewing is offered.

What are you currently reading Beth?

I am reading another historical novel by Philippa Gregory called the Other Queen and it is about The Scots Queen Mary. I think I was telling you about it!

Today is one of those crips and clear days with a beautiful blue sky. I will take Max and Bella for a nice walk. Then feed my birdies.

Please be careful Beth, you don't want to risk another fall! I keep you close in my prayers for quick healing and little pain.

Love,
Nancy

I think I will be okay. But it is good that I have the week off from work. I was kind of worried that the trip to Regina would lead to more health trouble seeing how I am all worn out.

Did the Nurse Next Door people come today? I really hope - for both you and Dad - that they can provide a lot of help and that they can become part of the routine. I think 3 days a week is the minimum and you should consider getting more. It is important for Dad's peace of mind to know that he does have some steady and reliable back-up on the weekdays (family can be great, but we all have, at times, other responsibilities we cannot avoid). I am more worried about Dad than you in the sense you have a basically upbeat approach and just have a temporary bit of a problem with a silly old bone. Dad, as he has said himself, is depressed. Illness loves to creep inside someone who is depressed.

My landlords checked up on me before they left today to go back to Langley. They are really lovely people. Like Dad, they suggested I should go to the ER rather than to the Clinic.

Anyway, I thought I had done plenty of resting at home (which is basically what I have been doing since Boxing Day) but apparently I need a little more.

Acorn TV sounds good, Nancy. I too like British TV.

Love,

Rick

So nice to see pictures of Leah and family. How are they all adjusting to a new baby in the house? Is Astrid all better, or do they still have some concerns about her breathing?

I walked Peanut like always this morning and just as we got to the front step she fell over. Not all that unusual for her, so I just helped her up and got her in the house. She seemed a little wobbly so I thought her leg might be sore so gave her one of her pain pills.

I took her to doggy daycare but they sent me a message about 10 that Peanut was not doing very well, could not walk at all. The vet took her in right away. She either has a minor issue that she will be over in a couple of days or she has a very big issue.

For now we have to stand beside her while she walks as she leans to the right and falls often.

Oh dear....that is not good to hear, Sandra...poor Peanut and poor you. You can make a sling out of an old towel and help her along...just something I picked up in my work with our local animal shelter.

Get better Peanut...sending hugs to all

Yes I am more worried about dad
and I thought it would be good for him
if I came home with Carol here and Sandra and Kim willing to help.

I am willing to go to rehab. if he wants.

The nurse comes to-morrow and we will
work our=t a plan.

Dad does not need to go up and down stairs
as now Carol is here and felling a little better wirh her cold.

Kim as good news that the other lady has taken bleame for the accident,
