An old picture but there are buds on the bushes all ready. I cannot wait to get outside and take a few pictures. Sun rise was amazing and sparks a new sense of awe and wonder with life.
We end up having traffic jams in our bedroom as dad and I try to go from one area to another. I am not a good driver so he has to watch out for me.
Another good day with a friend from church stopping by with more good food. A shepherds pie and brolli and fruit and gluten free bread. We leaned more interesting things about her life as she stayed to visit and had a few good laughs.
Dad was thinking of going to the store when Kim stopped by. She quickly got our supper ready and then off to the store.
Carol continues to check up on us as does Rick and Sandra.
I am being hopeful about my visit to the doctor on Thursday with Sandra and Randy taking time of to drive us. I expect to be told good news.
Happy people make good choices!
I am ready to create some major traffic jams out on our crazy roads.!

Traffic has not been that bad for me these days. Could be because I have been leaving a bit later. Got out for a walk at work for the first time in a long time. Actually got too warm and had to undo buttons.
I don't know if dad already bought ingredients for stew, but I made some for him. Not you mom as I know you dont like it so I did not bother to make it gluten free.
Sandra
Thank you Sandra.
Dad will enjoy that.
He had very extreme pain after Kim left.
He thinks it is gout.
I persauded him to take several tenenal
.It helped.
So painful for me to see him in pain
and having to do the work.
I am hanging tough for the new two days to\get a good result.
Not good in the morning.
But I will try to be good.
Love mom
Glad to hear you are being a good girl Beth! Was your doctor's appointment today? I hope it goes well for you and things are healing up.
That was nice of Sandra to make a stew...we love stew at our house. Sometimes I make it like a soup too...using the beef stewing meat. Add in barley too.
sorry to hear that Larry had extreme pain, but glad he has something to take to ease the pain. Letting the pain get a good hold on you just makes it harder to ease off in the long run.
We are having a quiet day at home. A warm front ( if you can call it that ) just went through and it caused me to have pain so I wasn't able to go in to Selkirk today. It is because of the Poly Myalgia rheumatica. We will do all the errands on Thursday when Carl has his ultrasound.
His urologist called him today and she is concerned about the length of time between the bladder surgeries. We had to cancel the last one due to bad highways. She is hoping the cancer hasn't spread and she will have to do bigger surgery. He has an appointment for Feb 22. and we must go, regardless of the highways.
I found a photo of Ferade Ateah and thought how much Oli looks like his GGrandfather. I sent it to Carol and Oli. I wish I could post it here, but cannot! The photo would have been taken sometime in the 1930's as Ferade passed away in 1938. He was working in the wood yard and a large tree fell on him. Hit him in the head and they called in the airplane for him, but he died. so sad. he was a true leader of the family...the eldest son and he left David and Tirza as young children and his wife Grace who was a school teacher. I have heard many amazing stories about him.
Well I am off to make supper...I hope you have a good evening and a good sleep..be careful!
Love to you both,
Nancy
Nancy keeping you and Carl in my prayers today.
My appointment is on Thursday'
Dad is taking Tyndenal.
It eases some
You both know all about pain!
Love Beth
Thank-you so much for the prayers, Beth. I do the same for you and Larry. May you both feel better soon.
Tylenol is ok for pain, but I find the extra strength tylenol for arthritis is the best. It is stronger and lasts for up to 6 hours. I buy the no name brand which is cheaper, at Walmart or Super Store.
Your appointment is the same days as Carl's. We will leave early as we have a lot to do in winnipeg. We haven't been there for a month. oil change and wash the car, grocery shop and Carl's ultrasound. I hope it goes Ok as he is a big man and they have a difficult time seeing the aneurysm through all the fat on his belly. they press hard and it is painful. the last time they had to order a ct scan because they couldn't see it.
I am glad Sandra and Randy are taking you to your appointment. You will need a lot of help.
Love and prayers, especially for no pain,
Nancy
