We have now hired a gardener. My first thought is I had better go do some work in the yard before he comes. I find out he does not want to go into the front garden as he thinks it is fine as lots of plants keep the weeds down. He will clean up the side garden where the butter fly tree is so that is good. We just do not seem to have the energy to do that.
I planned another quiet day. mostly reading and a little weeding.
Dad is putting a little on the door of our back shed but he had trouble doing it.
A new day to respond knowing that our life matters and it is good to stay curious and willing to keep on keeping on.

What type of gardener did you hire? There are lots of weeks and grass for him to pull in the front part.
We are home, had a good drive and glad to be back.

Nice to have someone to help and it gives work to another so I am sure he is happy to be there too. Last year our condo board hired a Gardner to look after our whole area. It's a huge job. The second he finishes a large section and moves on to the next, he will have to start right back over lol those weeds and random grass piles just keep growing. But we sure appreciate it, as it looks so nice. And a couple years ago when they let the wild stuff get really out of control, Cameron and I had long weeds and grass about 4 feet tall outside our door. And I believe this caused the ants to try and move in. Millions of black ants started finding cracks into our condo. It was so yucky and sad *they had to all be killed* my sister and I weeded the small space by our door and they finally came and looked after it. So I hope he is back this year. It's a full time job. About a month now till we make our way over to visit you all. Can't wait!!!
