ORDINARY

A visit from Astrid who brought her mom and dad over turned an ordinary day into an extra- ordinary one!  Every time we see her she is up to new tricks.

Dad and Craig are planning to go to the Air Traffic Control center so he can learn more about flight paths.  This experience of running for council will give him an insight into politics.  Not an easy path.

Dad had the test for the P.S.A. today   He will see the cancer doctor next week.

After the visit with the family dad had a bike ride and I had a rest.
Still fighting a cough but I atleast know what is wrong and how to treat it.

Too bad Rick is not getting any answers and not getting any better.

I pray that God will guide him to find the path of health.

It is not much longer and Craig will be back to work. I had a super busy day myself and was kind of glad I did not have Pilates to rush off to when I got home.

Counting down the days till we go on our vacation and yet my remaining kitten does not have a home. : (

Good to have things to look forward to.

It would seem the shelter would just have to take the kitten back
and eventually a home will be found.

Life is complicated.

Hi Beth, Sorry that I have not been visiting your blog lately. Life has become very busy for me and very happy too! I have a special man in my life and we share doing many things together. It was totally unexpected, but we have known each other for 5 years or so and both are not married now. Our friendship just developed into a 'couples ' thing now and our family and friends are very happy for us.

Isn't Astrid the cutest thing? She looks to be a happy baby. You are fortunate they live close by and can visit often.

Where are you going for Thanksgiving dinner? We, that is myself and Ken, are invited to our son and his partner's for dinner on Sunday. It will be out first family dinner together. I am making pumpkin and lemon pies and a wild rice casserole. Shelley will be doing all the big meal stuff and Caroline will help her. Caroline will stay with my Sunday night...which is always nice. She was Bob's girlfriend and we are very close even though Bob went back to his old girlfriend.

It is snowing here right now. Big flakes that are staying on the trees and ground. I am going to Winnipeg tomorrow and hope that the highways are ok as I don't have my winter tires on yet. This is really unusual for us...but it has been unseasonally cold for a few weeks.

Tai Chi is really coming along well. I am almost half way through the 109 movements. It takes about 20 minutes to do them all and I have to practice every day. I really enjoy it and am amazed at how strong I am becoming. I forest walk too, with Ken and that takes an hour and a half. We go about three times a week. It is a slow contemplative walk, which amplifies nature. Very healing too.

I am glad to hear that you are walking with Anita, Beth. It is such a good exercise for us seniors. good to hear also that Larry is enjoying bike riding. Keeping active is so important.

Well I must go and make lasagna for dinner. Ken is coming and Bob lives here...so I will cook for both. Bob will have vegetarian lasagna.

I will try and read and write daily on your blog. I haven't been on the computer on my ipad much lately.

Nice to chat...Love to you and Larry
