SLOW

I do not think it was the some photo.

Failed to drive down by the beach.

                                               THE ROAD WAS BLOCKED OFF.

Dad wants to get back to driving.  We enjoyed the drive to White Rock on Friday.  Today we went to purchase a better blood pressure machine.  He will now check his blood pressure twice a day.  I am advised him to take some big breathes and be thankful.  Focus on future healing that comes as we try to be calm accepting there are things we cannot do.

Change can happen slowly!

We have to realize things have changed.  Both of us have to be careful we do not fall.  Dad has to decide whether to take some pills to slow doing his stomach

No plans for to-morrow..

There are some changes ahead but life promises to be meaningful as we move forward slowly.

Many new friends offering to help.

A blood pressure machine you like is good. Now you can record it on your whiteboard twice a day until you see the dr again. Lovely day here , lots of sunshine . Melina had a migraine . We had a nice breakfast with Jasmine mate , who was here for a sleepover.

Same photograph two days in a row?

I see on Facebook that Nancy-Lou is a bit of a bird-watcher.

Maybe you should have a cell phone Mom. A real one.

Love,

Rick

Dad did not have a good sleep.
His stomach bothered him.

I am trying o talk him into trying the pills from the doctor.

The temperature is 1 degree.

Dad's blood pressure is good/1

Oh, and one of the side benefits to Tylenol-3's (at least for me) is the tendency to make bowel contents more solid. So if they help Dad sleep and they might assist on the loose/formed side of things, then maybe he should take them more often?

I will call shortly.

Has Larry tried Imodium? For diahria? I lived on it for a year when I got a bowel infection from a Mexican restaurant. It works like a charm they have almost instant tablets that dissolve in your mouth as well as regular tablets.
I am sorry to hear Larry had a stroke...a good, thing you were able to calll the ambulance and get him to the hospital quickly.
I am glad to hear he is back to normal now and going out for drives.

Yes, I do like wild birds and tame ones too...I have been operating a bird feeding station for over 40 years now and we are very popular.
I think there must be at least 10 generations of blue jays and chickadees and nuthatches here...likely more. They are year round birds. The important thing is you must feed them daily. Especially in the cold winter months, I also have a water heater for a huge bowl...and they love,it. Right now there is no water available for them...the lake is about a 10 minute walk for me....I don’t think they would go there.
Ken has taken over the bird feeding and he is out there as soon as we get up. And the birds are waiting... irc,in around him..
The nut hatches and chickadees will come to our hand. Their little feet wrap around my finger and are ever so cold. How they survive our cold winters I do not know.

We have two budgies...and they are such characters...one would think they are just dumb birds that squeak but they are smart.
They haven’t been out of the living room. we give them freedom to fly out of the cage...all,day. But the other night they wouldn’t go in their cage...so ken shut out the light and came upstairs and they flew to the light, which happened to be our bedroom .
Wel there we were..11:00pm and the two of us trying to catch them as they frantically flew around the room. Ken had his shorts and I had his t shirt and we were jumping up on the bed and down off the bed...pictures on the wall, went sideways...it was a comedy.
Finally Ken caught Tweety and I caught Sill....and they were put to bed in their cage with a scolding.
All I can say it was a comedy..amd a good, thing two people,in their seventies do tai chi....or we would have killer ourselves...lol.

Hoping for good news on the bone cat scan,

love to you both, nancy
