FUTURE

I asked Ben what did he see in his future?
He has several options.
His goal is to go to university  to become a doctor.
He has to decide about his soccer too.
Hopefully he will get a scholarship.

Dad and I live day to day trying to count our blessings.
Dad did not have a good day and he feels discouraged.
I have some ideas for to-morrow
The main thing is to eat healthy.
Take all medicine.

I made lots of calls to get  dad's appointment at the doctor to have the hormone injection.  I also got a time arranged to pick up the shot at the pharmacy at Surrey Hospital.  Everything went well.

It was a windy wet day and Spenser did not want to walk over to get his shot.  He tried to run away when she came out to take him in.  He feels much better after.

I am trying to be hopeful for our future when both dad and Rick are feeling better.
It will be a challenge but we can face them together.

We hope to make the right choices and stay on a good path even when it gets windy and bumpy.

One thing I know is that we have many memories that we treasure in our hearts.

I started work at 6am yesterday so I could go over to the mall and find something for Randy with out him. No such luck. Once he got home we went back together. It was such a miserable rainy windy night we figured might as well walk in the mall than the street. The mall was pretty empty, you would never know it was the last weekend of shopping before Christmas.

Good to do things together.

Why do we worry about presents when we all have so much.

We are not buying.

I hope we can get together.

Love mom

We have most of the shopping done. Best to stay away from all the hassle of the mall, fighting for car parks. We did nothing yesterday, just rested. We have another hard rubbish collection booked for Monday morning. We have 6 chairs to get rid of.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the Christmas card. It was on a bit of a journey as the mail person delivered it to the wrong address. Someone drove it over and stuck it in our door. They apologized for opening it up. Lol

Good that Ben is thinking about the future.
