To-Day

Too bad Carol and Panteli could not drop off the battery charger.

To-day has gone by quickly.
It was very frosty this morning.
Spenser did not like the frost on the grass,

Sandra and Randy came over for a long happy visit.  Randy brought jelly he had made from his own grapes.  Sandra made cookies for dad and a excellent family calendar.  Sandra has taken over from Shawna.  She is a busy mom that is for sure.

Dad gave Carol and Panteli some items to take up to the hospital but were not allowed to leave it because of the Virus.   Rick sent a voice mail he is still the same.  Hope and pray he does not catch the virus.

Thank you Nancy Lou for your prayers.

Sandra tells me not to worry and I will try not to.
Prayer helps me when I do.

Prayers and hope and a gratitude attitude, helps me from worrying too much, and I think of the moment. I am trying to be more aware, the time goes by much to quickly, but yet not quick enough when people are in pain. We are thinking of Uncle Rick and hoping there are more answers. We all have a long road ahead with lockdown and winter, I am hopeful it will get better in this world. Grateful for all the health care workers.

That is too bad, we could have tried to drop off the charger and saved Carol and Panteli a trip for nothing.

Dropped off two kittens this morning and the other two will go next weekend.

I know I don't have to tell you, Beth, but you sure have a wonderful family...they all pull together in tough times...even in good times you get together and have fun.
I hope that Rick will be able to do more therapy and the dizziness lessens...it must be terribly frustrating for him.
In reading your post it sounds like Carol and Panteli were able to go up and visit him? That would bring him some cheer...I am sure he really needs. I have a friend who had a serious stroke. He was a member of our Tai Chi group. He wasn't able to come for quite a few months as he couldn't use his leg and arm and it affected his walking too. But he persevered and came for classes even when it was really hard for him and now, you almost wouldn't know he had a stroke. His left arm is still and little funny along with his hand..he can't quite do the movements with it...but he still tries and does ok.
It just will take time and I am sure Rick will be able to come home.

I bet you miss him...he helped you so much and went on walks with you and Spenser. Just look ahead adn think of these good times will return!

We are cold here...-21 tonight with a brisk wind. I didn't walk Pedro today...I was busy in the kitchen baking and making an chicken dinner. He has a large fenced in yard so he can come and go when he likes. he has a girlfriend called Rosie. She lives across the street and is a Chow...a lovely disposition for a Chow. She is let to run loose in the wintertime and comes on walks with Pedro and me. They are good friends and play and run. Pedro has a long leash. I am afraid to let him loose because of the large numbers of coyotes and wolves. Rosie seems to be ok so far and I sure hope that she remains ok,

My credit card was hacked and I had to go the round with mastercard today. I am not sure how it was hacked. They deleted a number of things that were bought on Amazon. So it could have been there. Good thing I looked at my statement on line and noticed charges that I hadn't put on in the last three days. About $600. So I am without a credit card now for at least two weeks. But they are sending me one in the mail. I can use Kens if I need to.

I think I will get a pay pal account...I don't think you can use that for Amazon but I will keep a close eye on my purchases. WE buy quite a few household and grocery items on there because we don't want to go in the store. Covid is running rampant on the reserves in our area...there is one about 25 kms away and it has lots of cases and the people are NOT isolating like they should...they are seen in the stores or trying to get in the stores on the reserves and visiting etc. I read the posts on their Covid site. They do partronize one of the local stores...well it is about 5kns away for liqour, so we don't go there at all. There is a store that is closer and we don't drink liqour so no loss.

I hope you sleep well and have a good day tomorrow,
Love to you both,
Nancy
