PRODUCTIVE

DSCN5793DSCN5723
Dad had a very productive day yesterday.  He cleaned up around the little running stream in the back yard and put some new little rocks around.  He is lifting weights and even wearing weights on his feet to get stronger.

We tackled putting pictures on face book together.

Then I continued trying to remove the virus which he had started to do.  I believe prayer and patience helped, plus the fact I do not want to spend a lot of money either having it done or buying a new computer.

He also started our income tax.  He finished it on Tues.

I am working on meditation and relaxation which is hard work to.  It has been recently demonstrated that just fourteen days of mental and physical exercise and stress reduction and a healthy diet improves cognition and brain function.  This was for people between 35 - 69.

I believe the next generation will conquer Alzheimer's using these methods.  If you improve the dendrites on the end of the neurons in your brain your mental health and memory can improve.

Wed.
Dad had now fixed the computer this morning.  Spent a lot of time yesterday on it.

I picked up Joyce from the Senior's home and took her to our U.C.W. meeting.  She used to be a part of it and was so pleased to see old friends again.  It was a sunny day so that was good.

Dad has an eye appointment in the afternoon.

Yesterday we dropped a little parcel off for him.

You are so fortunate to have a helpful husband who can work in the garden and fix your computer! It is good to hear that he is strengthening his legs and feet with weights.
I wish Carl could do that....he is getting weaker and is having a difficult time rising out of his chair. There has been a few times he has tipped it backwards when sitting down and he ended up upside down with the chair on top. I had to call for help to get him up.

No word on Sebastian's arrival yet? When is Mary due? Oh boy, even at our old age we still remember how uncomfortable it is those last few weeks...poor Mary, hopefully the little guy comes soon.

It was a beautiful day today, with a temperature of 12C. We had a lovely walk and will gradually work up to a three or four kilometers a day. There are signs of spring, but tomorrow we are going to have old man winter make another appearance..with some snow and strong winds. Not a lot of snow for us...but lots further north.

I see you had some thunder and strong rains...

Love, nancy

Did randy call you to say thank you? What time did you come by ? No baby, just lots of Simone time.

No I phoned to sing happy birthday. I do not know what hours he is working.

We were there about 2;but did not want to wake him.

It is good Simone is having this special time.

And yes Nancy I am glad Larry is trying to get stronger but I doubt if either one of us could help the other up. Yes old age is a blast!
