Enjoy life there is plenty of time to be dead!
I would say one of the best things about going to church is the laughter we share.
Fun night is a time to get dressed up and act crazy!
Several churches are invited to come and each one puts a skit, or reads something humorous or do a fun dance. At the end we are all invited to join in.
The lady that got the most applause was the one who walked across the stage area with a big sign which said Time passes meaning a new scene was coming on.
There is always lots of good food to tempt the dieters. We have fabulous cooks who all admit they are tired of making meals at home. Several who are famous for their pies. Dad loves to shop at the bake table.
We have fun no matter what we are doing, preparing meals or organizing events.
I think we are all a bunch of clowns with very different personalities!
Wed. is the afternoon of the strawberry tea. Dad will go with me if I can drag him away from all his projects. I am baking a cake and selling tickets.
Be a good listener your ears will never get you in trouble

If you have time don't forget to stop by and see the dogs. They will be very happy to a visitor.

Humour is such a wonderful asset to have! You often use humour in your blog, Beth and it always gives me a chuckle.
Your church is very active with lots of activities. I do miss the social part of going to church and I miss Tai Chi too. May start back to Tai Chi. I don't know what will happen to our church when Judy, our minister retires in September. I don't think they will find a minister who will live in the area. Maybe it will be the church Captains ( the church army ) who will have to share the services, like in the 1960's.
I wish Sandra and Randy a wonderful and safe trip....sounds like it will be a lovely holiday. I guess Kim is staying there looking after the pets. Lucy must be doing OK after her surgery....that is wonderful!
Our son's cat's tumour biopsy turned out to be cancer, but the easiest type, basal cell. The vet is pretty sure he got it all. I never knew cats could get skin cancer.
We were in the city today doing last minute preparation for Carl's surgery. He got a hair cut and I was able to get some minutes on an old cell phone so he can use it in the hospital once he feels a little better. He will be in intensive care for a couple of days and then a step-down unit...won't feel well enough to phone while there.
How has your weather been Beth? Still hot? The heat will be here tomorrow and Friday along with strong storms and humidity.
Have a lovely evening,
Love, Nancy
Dad informed me you have changed your mind about the dogs.
We took Leah out to eat after having her desert first.
Haiti has got out on us several times and today the front door blew open
and there she was when the garage door open right in front of us.
We all agree we must lock up that door.
I think she may have jumped our fence.
Have a great holiday.
Love mom
