RE-ACTION

There is so very much beauty in life and I am fortunate that I can enjoy so much on my walk.

To-day I had a very bad re-action to my new pills.  I was nauseated all night very badly.  In the morning I woke up dad my being sick and dizzy and also falling off the toilet and now have a head ache as well.

Dad was very calm and my worry is always a stroke especially when I could not walk from the bath room to the bed.  Boy was I weak!  Now I am feeling better but still weak.

Dad put a new fire alarm in and had a good rest after carrying my toast and coffee up-stairs.

I am thankful to be able to stand and walk and trusting in the healing power of prayer and care, and the wisdom to know which pills to take without a re-action.

Those pills always seem to do this to you. It is kind of like picking your poison where the cure is worse than the illness.

Hope today has been better and you will still be able to make it over tomorrow for dinner.

Thanks Sandra
I am much better today.
I am only taking one instead of the two pills.
We will be there to-morrow for sure!
Dad was fixing more lights in the back yard,
Ordinary lights on the back step and over the shed.
Feet very sore so watching hockey.

Oh dear, Beth, that was an awful night you had, being so sick and falling too. it is a good thing that you have larry and he has you...you can be there for each other, when these times come along! i feel that way too, with Carl and I, though it is mostly he that needs help now.
It is re-assuring to know there is someone there for us!

I am so glad to hear that you feel better today...those pills for UTI are awful. My dear mother in law used to suffer from UTI's and she found it very difficult to take the pills. I hope you continue to feel better and drink lots and lots of fluids!

Carl had an allergic reaction to the drug Rituxin and the nurse almost sent him to emergency. it was towards the end of the infusion and his heart rate went up quite high and he started to become hoarse...she tried two different drugs to settle it down and neither worked...so we had to stay until 6:30....that was 9 hours there.
The nurse finally agreed to discharge him but gave me detailed instructions on what to watch for and when to call the first responders and ambulance. Luckily Carl was ok.
I was so grateful that Mark could drive home...i was not feeling well and was tired. Lay down in the back of the car and slept.

We both have been tired since then and just took things easy for two days.

I will be looking forward to hearing how your supper was at Sandra's today.

Yes, friends, true friends are such a blessing.
One sure finds out who they are when you really need them! often they aren't the ones you would think they would be!

One of Carl's employees, when he was in business, is such a good friend to both of us. He comes and takes our garbage and re-cycling and fixes our car for us...what ever we need done. Always happy to do it too. He always tells me to call him anytime for anything. his wife is the same way...very kind and caring people. So we are blessed. Especially when Bob, our son has moved to Selkirk. He used to do a lot for us.

Well I am off to watch netflix...a scary story about a little boy who is lost.

have a lovely evening and a good sleep,

Love, Nancy
