TOGETHERNESS

A small family
enjoys watching the ducks together.

We wa;l around the pond at Boundary Park and are happy to see the ducks enjoying being together.
Lots of ducks.
Is our there?
It has left our area now.

Dad and I enjoy the walk around the pond together with Spenser.  The sky is beautiful and the water sparkles in the sun.  We forget the unimportant worries that want to rob us of our peace.

We meet an old friend from Colebrook Church and we rush to greet each other with a hug. We express our happiness just seeing each other.

Today we went to the Safeway together to get a few things.  Shopping does not seem like fun anymore so many rules to follow.  Together we get what we need for the next few days.

Later we went to the White Spot for dad's favorite fish and chips.  It seems very empty and they welcome us with smiles and laughter.

We have watched the marching protests where people of all races and colors are standing up for justice.  Together there is hope the world will become aware that all lives matter.

In the beginning of creation God breathed live into humanity and how sad when that breath is stopped with violence and a cruel disregard for the young man who did not deserve to die in this way.

We are very blessed to enjoy these days of togetherness.
Together with our family and friends!
Sharing the sadness that is in the world but also sharing the joys,

Great memories of celebrating life together!

Took hours to put these pictures on but I did it!

Yes, it is a nice thought that the Delta Street Duck has maybe finally made her way to a pond at the park.

Glad you went out to the park. I know habits of a life-time are hard to break, but probably giving people a hug is not such a good idea.

My video interview on Friday seemed to go well. It is for a job that is in Abbotsford. We will see how it goes.

Did Oliver let Ben drive his big truck?

Love,

Rick

You hugged someone? Hmmm.

I hope those silly ducks smarten up and moved to someone safer.

How is dad's back? Loosening up and feeling better?

Dear daughter
No we did not hug we stopped in our tracks.

It is okay not to use your brain on the week end.

Dad's back is a wee bit better.
He is feeling weak and tires easily.
It will take time and he needs to rest
even though he really wants to do more.
