We love sitting outside in our yard.
Yes the trees have taken over.
We spent the afternoon on our front porch
taking to a new friend who was walking his dog.
We arrive a little late at Sandra and Randy's because we left later and missed our turn on the way their.
It was a beautiful evening to sit by their pool. Mikie and Theresa arrived after us. They are learning how to take care of the pool. Seems like a lot of hard work to us.
It was hard to resist all the good food put out on the table for us. Dad had a painful time when he went to bed. This is miserable. He ate a little late and a little two much.
Today we are planning to go to the River Inn to eat lunch. It is a beautiful place. to sit outdoors.
I was trying to google it to make sure it is open and somehow I rented a room at some Inn somewhere.
As we grow older we continue to find it important to make wise choices.

You rented a room somewhere?! Oh dear. Well, I hope you were able to cancel it.
Nice photo. Not so bad when the trees take over.
Getting busy with my new 'job.' I should know on Friday if I really have a job as this is payday, apparently.

Rick

Love mom
such a pretty place to sit and read or quietly contemplate, Beth. We like our sunroom...with the windows all open it is lovely first thing in the morning and in the evening when the sun hits the living room windows...we head to the sunroom where it is full shade by then. It overlooks the garden too and we can almost see the plants growing...they are leaping ahead.
The Covoid virus has changed how we live hasn't it? It think some of the things will be here to stay, too. I have taught two workshops in the last few days but have been careful as one can be when you are teaching an art class. We placed the tables aat 6 foot distances but I had to get closer when seeing how their paintings were coming along. I asked for permission and no one said no. Everyone said they were healthy.
It was soo good to be back teachin. even at my age I still enjoy it very much and really didn't get that tired in the 5 hour class..I kept the attendance down to 10.
So I have two more workshops coming up..so far. on Tuesdays.
Ken's lovely house sold..maybe I told you that? It is rented throughout the summer though, but the new owners will honour the rental agreement. The possession date is Aug 16, and they paid cash..couldn't wish for a better deal.
We were there today and I thought how much I will miss the view..of Elk Island and the lake...but Ken seems fine with it being gone. There were some bad memories there with his ex wife.
Sooo life moves on. Have you and Larry thought about selling and moving into a condo? life would be so much easier for you. But I know it would be hard to leave your home.
Well I have things to do...so have to say goodbye until tomorrow,
Wishing you a great day,
Love Nancy
