carol suggested we have the water tested.
From our pond and from the two streams out front.
There are two different streams now.
One is very clean and the other a dark color.
Dad and I took it down to Art Naps and the two young kids were willing to test it. They were all different. The darker new stream they could not really test as it was too thigh. The city water department should be doing this.
Waiting for our house to be painted has been testing our patience. The power washers will come on late Thurs, or on Friday.
Dad is still watching what he eats.
Everyone is very nice and we all our doing our best!

Isn't it funny, now we just know something? I have intuition, but not like a friend of mine. She was house sitting for a friend and felt a dark ghost was there..haunting her. turning off lights and closing doors..she felt very uncomfortable and her dog wouldn't go anywhere, just lay at the back door. after a couple of days, she had enough and packed up and came home.
She said there were crosses all over the house...large crystal ones and all different types.
She talked to the owners daughter a few days later and found out her father hung himself at the bottom of the stairs...the owner never told my friend. In fact, to this day only the daughter and the mans wife only know what really happened there. Now my friend does too.
Gosh that must be frustrating for Larry, to not be able to ride his bike. I hope he can get stronger and have less pain and get back in the saddle soon.
it is good to hear he is trying a diet to see what is wrong with his stomach..I am thinking it must be an elimination diet. Stick to it Larry...you can do this!

Very odd about the water. Hopefully the city will step in and help you guys. I am glad that grandpa is able to stick to watching what he is eating. I was reading about some left side abdominal pain and i came across the BRAT diet you mentioned. I had not heard of this until you posted about it. So i thought that was interesting.
We are in Fairmont, BC now. Enjoying the warmth and the fresh mountain air. Day one. Hoping to find a decent, not too busy beach area we can launch our paddle boards from and take Daisy. It would be really great to have a sandy spot to hangout. Most of the beachy areas we are not to have the dog on. But we are definitely taking her to the water and out for a swim and paddle. Looking to be close to 30c here today. Having a coffee before making some breakfast sandwiches. I hope you guys have a happy Friday. It will be so lovely once the house is painted. What colour did you decide on?
