WE live in desperate troubled times when the whole world is waiting for answers.
When will we be able to return to normal.
When will the children be able to go back to school.
Waiting and not knowing is hard.
Spenser knows he cannot come down the stairs on his own.
Waiting for dad and Spenser to come down.
Dad seems to be doing okay.
Yes we seem to do a lot of waiting these days. First for dad to arrive home from his surgery and then waiting yesterday for a phone call from the vet. We were both so very worried. Fortunately the vet. agreed to have a look at him. I waited outside as she took a very unhappy puppy inside.
Yes Spenser is getting on in years so his joints are getting stiff. He was given a shot for pain and some pills. The pills are Gabapentin which dad is not so sure about. He will get several more shots and if he takes these pills he would be on them for life.
Spenser and I walked over to the park. He enjoyed the slow walk. He went right to sleep when we got home. He is wobbly.
We are going to take him for a drive to Sandra and Randy's.

be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord!

Awe, two patients at your house...Larry looks to be doing well...good for you Larry! Soon you will be feeling all better. that is cute, to see you carrying Spenser downstairs...poor little guy!
I do hope spenser feels better with the shots and pills...how old is now Beth? He is just so cute! It is good to have a walking companion isn't it? My fellow loves to walk too..he goes at just the right pace, without pulling.
I would like to take my neighbours dog along too. she is a Chow and a lovely dog. Once she got off her leash and came along with us and Pedro really likes her. she is tied to a tree and they don't seem to bother with her a lot. They don't take her inside in the winter either. It bothers me, but I cannot do much about it unless she is being abused.
I take Pedro over to visit with her when we are out for our walk.
How are you feeling Beth? Are you doing OK?
We are planning some renovations to our house. A carport is high on the list...so when winter arrives we won't have the shovelling and ice scraping. We also have to have new siding on the house and soffits. The house is 44 years old. Mark, my son, is a journeyman carpenter and will do the work.
Our vegetable garden is doing very well...we are freezing veggies every evening. Right now the beans are going 'gang busters'. both yellow bush beans and the fortex climbing green beans. Lot so zucchini and the butternut and acorn squash are coming along too. We finished the snow peas and the radishes and the broccoli and the early cabbages as well. Next year we will expand by 50%. Ken made a video of the garden and I posted it on facebook. Go to my page to view it,
So I am off to the garden now..I wish you and good day...with lots of good things.
Love to you both
Nancy
Good news that Spenser responded to the Medicine. I have a part waiting for me at the hardware store. I park , then phone a number on the sign , then they bring out my part. No contact .
of course i have paid online . Take care
Ken
It was sad to see Spencer looking so wobbly, but if you say he is getting better then hopefully tomorrow he will be even better.
I just had a phone call from Adena, Randys daughter. Randys dad had a fall, an operation and is failing very fast. Such as stupid man, Randys brother, to not allow anyone to see Doug and now with Covid can not see him in the hospital if we even wanted to.
Sandra
Tylenol 3's should help the pain. Looks very sore.
Good thing Nancy-lou is freezing some vegetables.
Doesn't seem anybody from Canada will get to Tylor's wedding, which is too bad.
I have been feeling poorly since the respiratory test on Wednesday. Back to see the GP tomorrow.
Love,
Rick
Waiting for news from you Rick.
