FLOWING

Hidden just behind these bare trees is a small creek just flowting along slow;y.  Trees looking very bare.
Today was the kind of day where we just flowed along and people popped in and out.

Carol phones early in the morning with Panteli listening in.  Sad news that dad has not been able to renew his pass to the States at the same time he got his driver's license.

Soon after Sandra dropped by to update us on Mary and her plans for dad's birthday.  We decided to look at the mattress in Kim's room and she will help us get a new one.  It is a very uncomfortable bed and she will find us a bargen I am sure.

One idea flowed into another as we looked around the room.  Kim has a lot of things that she has left here. She helped me move some boxes into the dining room where kim can take over and look through her collection of art supplies, books and clothes. Lots of time to make decisions.

Soup arrived just before supper time delivered by Ev.  Another great cook.

Time flowed right on and then Kim and Hamlet arrived for a visit.
We enjoyed a happy visit with them both.

A day filled with love that flowed all around us.

It is a good thing you have so much happen in your life even when you just stay home, gives you something to write about.

Randy did better sleeping yesterday just in time to get switched to a different shift.

I managed to keep Peanut in sight on my walk last night so did not have to back track to look for her.

Skyped with Edmonton and Kingston and they both have a lot of snow. It was very warm on my walk last night and the rain was just light a mist. I like shining my flash light up and watching the rain swirl around like snow. It is one of my favourite childhood memories, standing under the street lights on Stevens Drive and watching snow doing the same.

When Randy goes to bed this morning I will put a coat of paint in the front hallway. Just use what ever is in the garage as I think I want to wallpaper it.

Wow...is there a wedding in the future for Kim and Hamlet? That is wondeeful to hear. Really exciting.

You sure did have a busy day with family and friends. Isn't that nice that your friends are bringing you food. You are much loved.

You must be expecting Mary and kids for a visit. Something to look forward to. Is Larrys birthday coming up soon?

We had a sports filled day, with the woman's curling and the super bowl tonight. I am upstairs watching curling and Carl is downstairs watching football.

Tomorrow my friend is coming over to help mr figure out my income tax. She used to work for H n R block and now works as a valet at the casino.

It was sooo cold with the wind chill this morning when I went out to feel the birds it felt like it was burning cold. The wind was strong and the wind chill was in the -40s. I felt so badly for the birds and deer. The deer were walking slowly and stiffly like they were frozen and shaking their legs trying to get the blood flowing. It is going to be cold all week.

Well back to the curling...it is sooo exciting with two MB teams playing to see who goes to the Olympics.

Have a great evening,

Love Nancy
