A DAY OF CATCHING UP

What a perfect day to walk with my good friend Jane and as usual we had a lot of catching up to do about what is happening in our lives. It is important to save this morning for our time together because we both get caught up in busyness. We share a love for books and she brought over "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Pell Pie Society." I was already interested in this book and was wanting to get it.

Larry and Geof met us for coffee and talked about cameras, cars and airplanes. We were also joined by Shirley and Elsie looking picture perfect after getting their hair done.

Got home just in time to get a few things ready for Deserae a young friend who has amazing ability to view life honestly and openly. We sat out in the back yard which is always relaxing.

Carol came by later and we heard some of their stories about China and looked at pictures. I was amazed at all the beautiful green trees and little water channels where they had walked.

I threw together a salad as we joined our Panorama Bible study group for a barbecue and lots of talking. We have become such good friends meeting for many years although this year we dropped out for several months because of our health.

A busy day but so worthwhile. This morning we are off to breakfast with Carol and Panteli. Then I will be visiting at the Nursing Home.

Well, sounds like the winter of dicontent is slipping away into memory, you and dad sound busy and happier. Me, it is home from work and clean clean clean. More the same tonight and then I am off to pick up Shawna at the airport at 8:30PM. Remind Carol to put pictures on Facebook so we can all see them.
