eaterday I almost did not go and call on Gundy for our morning walk but I am so thankful I did. She called me in to see her new Chesterfield and she had the living room all lit up to show me. It is a little stiff to sit on but she is very proud of her purchase.
I think our friend Marjorie would have been very pleased with the funeral service yesterday.
The flowers were beautiful and it was a gentle tribute to her and her love for her family and for her church. The minister talked of the the sacred tapestry which we become a part of.
Dad and I drove by our old house it was very deserted and broken down looking, so I guess it will be torn down. Sad to see but we have so many good memories of all our family being there. We carried on to Choices and I loaded up with some of my favorite things. I got some hot cross buns, carrot cake and the bread I use is Udi's whole grain loaf and Silver Hills Flax gluten free which is good for me but I am not fond of, this is it below.
We had a bit at our usual place Milestones. I think they are very careful with the gluten free selection as I have never felt sick after.
On the way home we stopped in to see Pearle at the Seniors Hospital. If dad had followed my directions we would have gotten lost again. She was getting things ready to go home to-morrow and was very happy about finally being released. They have care set up for her and she feels very positive all will go well.
I cut the lawn and dad had his walk in the forest so we both did well today. Had a skype call with Panteli and mostly Carol without the skype. He is arriving April 26 to stay at our house before going to Sandra' s to look after the days while they drive to California (with no clothes)
The same day Carol and Kimberly leave for Cuba to go scuba diving as they both have taken lessons.
Today we are off to Safeway for 10% day. It seems warmer today I have not turned the heat on and I do not hear the rain. Could the weather people be wrong? no actually there is a light rain.

I just brought a light jacket today to work, I hope I dont regret it when it is time for our walk this afternoon. I am planning more stops for our trip. We will be able to see the Hearst Castle when we drive from San Fran to LA.
Sandra PS, I should have cut the grass when I got home too, but jammies and the couch won out.
couldn't find dad;s pj's last night got tired out looking, up and down the stairs but finally did. I must be getting more like dad looking and not seeing.

Where are the Qantas Pj's I gave you. Niece Alexandra's birthday today. We are going to the park for fish and chips the home for a cake. We get to see Serena for the first time in three months. She is going ok , but can't be exposed to germs or colds as she is not strong.
