WAITING

Wed. waiting for sunshine to come back

And after a short walk in the pouring rain it did!

Dad started to do his income tax which he has been wanting to do.

It was decided that we would meet Jane and Geof for lunch at the Boston Pizza when the day looked so miserable.  Jane and I were both a little frustrated, her because her knee surgery was cancelled and me because I was limited to chasing the dust so noticeable in the sunshine. and doing a few odd jobs.  We found a nice quiet booth and had a good visit.  Afterwards we looked at the new apartments for sale on 64.  Too small and too modern.  By the time we got home a cold wind chased us up the driveway and the rain started again.

So we are still waiting for spring.

We cannot wait for there to be a mutual respect and cooperation between the different religions but be willing to learn more and recognize bigotry and intolerance when we come across it.  Certainly I would agree that Christians do not have a monopoly on God.  We are called to be bothers and sisters of one Creator  Humanity runs deeper and wider than any religion.

My first commitment, like the Dalai Lama says is as a human being. like all others,   We all experience pain and suffering, love and happiness,  we all have to learn to love and care for each other.  I have to learn to be patient and wait for healing.

"God is greater than any one's understanding or interpretation."

We all our waiting for reconciliation and peace.

Yesterday was very bizzar weather wise. And then the torrential rain last night after I went to bed made me think our house was about to float away. Sandra

Busy day for me yesterday, lightning and thunder at the airport.the ramp was closed for about 30 mins which made for a very busy day for me at movement control. Then a argument with a captain and before you know it home time.
