The light from heaven shines upon the cross that holds the mystery of a hidden gospel.

Deep in thought after finding all the hidden Easter eggs

Dad and I really enjoyed our Easter lunch with such a great bunch of characters.  The day was warm and wonderful and the food was excellent.  Some how I missed getting a picture of Oliver, he was there, but arrived later.

Morgan plays a game of the hidden cards where the goal is find two that match.  Hide and seek has always been a popular game for children to play.

Hidden deep in our hearts can be thoughts and prayers for each other. I know I can  feel numb at the pain someone else is feeling, we rejoice with happiness when there is joy to be shared!  I saw a small colorful butterfly flitting over my flowers today and it took my breath away.  Moments of awe and wonder are like a silent prayer of thanksgiving and deep gratitude.

Whatever prayer is or whatever prayer does, and even if it was  talking to yourself about your own needs and also about the needs of others this is an act of love and caring.  (Actually I believe it is more than this and that some one is listening,  when we are open to the possibility of God.).

"Don't knock it!  I think it is very sad when we go through much of our life
without a decent conversation with ourselves."  -Dave Tomlison.

I often pray not knowing what else to do.  I write prayers and put them into my little prayer box, I light a candle, I want to express my love especially towards anyone going through times of worry
or having an operation or sadness and loss.

Quantum physics has given us a new picture of the world as a vast inter-connected network where small fluctuations at the quantum level can have dramatic effects elsewhere.  Who knows the hidden affect prayer can have?  My prayer just may release energy for another person's healing.  So I will keep praying and leave the answers with God.

Dad and I worked hard in the yard today, especially dad.  I do a little then rest.  I did two walks while dad did his walking around here and at the store.

I think this was one of the best Easters except for Randy's sad news.  Our prayers go with him as he flys to Sarnia to be with his mom and dad.

It was one of the best weather wise that is for sure. Randy is dreading this trip. Having seen his mom a year ago I know how shocked he will be to see her now. I am hoping she holds on till Mary has her baby, then we can take a trip down to see her as Mary(Randy's mom Mary) said she always hoped to live to be a great grama. My Mary is not quite her grandaughter, but close. Sandra

Looks as if you had a fun time at the lunch party l do agree with the things you wrote about prayer It is comforting to b prayed for and to share ones concerns both for ourselves and others. Prayer changes us ! thought our Easter services were very moving particularly the good friday service at Northwood.
Bye for now . Jane.
