Every beautiful spring morning seems like a gift from heaven itself. A new day full of possibility and hope. One cannot help but praise our Creator as we see all the variety of beauty that waits to be discovered.
Yesterday Carol stopped off on the way home from work and Kim came and made them both supper. We now will be looking after Haiti for the week-end. We have nothing planned but have to choose between two funerals. One is an old friend from dad's work and the other a young handi-capped girl from our church.
Haiti and I are off for an early morning walk. We walk in the silence and simplity of being ourselves.

Haiti is a nice little dog, she puts up with grumpy Lucy very well. Lucy is getting deaf and her sight is not very good now either and it makes her grumpier then usual. I too am grumpy, so much work to do and hard to keep my focus on what I am getting out of it since we will be in a panic to buy once we (if we) sell our house.

Lovely pictures, Beth....the flowers and green grass give me much hope that one day we will see the same. I am so glad that you are enjoying Haiti...dogs bring us so much love. Isn't Kim wonderful? AND so beautiful.
My little rescue dog, Dinty is now totally blind. We are learning together how to adjust ...poor fellow, he walks in to chairs and gets confused as to where he is. BUT he is getting better at remembering where things are and I make sure nothing is moved or left in his way. It is so sad. But he is cheerful...just stays close to me. He brings us so much joy!
