SCATTERED

From the garden at Carol and Panteli's.  Looking good.

Falls shake you up and even I felt scattered and unfocused.

We were a very hungry group.

The kids had a busy day running around the track and skate boarding and I think visited their community garden.

Time to come home and prepare supper with the fruits of their labour
and also make a chocolate cake.

Ben will have a three day trial
and will get the news this week
if he is successful.

A long day driving into Burnaby after school and arriving home late in the evening.  I think Carol is going to help.

Kim will finished school this week I believe.

Church was delightful with the younger children hoping and running around and so full of life.  Reminds me of when we too our grandchildren.  Lots of fun,

The talk was about the problems that came after Jesus' death.  Jesus had told them not to let their hearts be troubled.  Instead of staying together a lot scattered and some took off to the mountains to become a separate community that lived by the words of Jesus but did not reach out to others who needed to have lives transformed and salvation shared with those in far away places.

His message was to live from the heart and to live for others.  This givers life meaning and purpose.
This allows healing to be a flowing energy that restores hope and life!

It is too bad I missed another great dinner, it always seems Carol invites me the same day we have plans with Mandi.

She seems to be doing better, first time we got together and she did not cry since December.

Is Carol really thinking of going to Australia?

Isn't that great news about Ben? Wow just to think the Whitecaps are looking at him....I guess they have scouts looking at the younger soccer players! All his VB cousins will keep their fingers crossed! You rock Ben!

that is quite a drive for Theresa and Ben....all the way from Chillwack. I wish them well.

A lovely photo of the family at Carol and Panteli's. Just look at the beautiful hair that Morgan has...wow.

Carol has a lovely garden too. Green thumbs must run in the family.

Carl is sore too and I was worried he had internal bleeding because his blood is thin. I am trying to persuade him to come with me to see our doctor tomorrow....but you know men...stubborn and don't want to go to doctors. He fell into the van and I think caught the mirror on his way down. Poor guy lay out on the ice and was so cold...for about 15 minutes.

I hope Larry is taking it easy and he doesn't have any residual problems...falling is so hard when you are older. Carl will be 78 in August.

It is freezing out there again. The high is -5 for VB. The wind off the ice is so cold again. Cannot wait to open a window a crack or leave the patio door open into the 3 season room so the dogs can go in and out by themselves. They say by Thursday it will be +10. But rain.

Wishing you a wonderful MOnday,

Love, Nancy

He is lugging rocks around in the garden and it is looking better
