CURIOSITY

It was not my imagination when I heard a loud crashing noise coming from our fire place first thing in the morning.  I could not find out what had caused it.  I was very curious.
The Golden years!
Did I miss them or are they still ahead?
I still want to be useful.

Curiosity keeps our brains alive.
Determination fuels our curiosity.
Children are very curious
and Jesus said become like a little child.
Be curious ask questions.
We have been given a mind for a reason.
The ability to create and coexist.

Even Jesus as a young boy was curious and asked questions of his elders.

"Concepts such as faith and belief are easier to comprehend when the right side of the brain is engaged."  -Dr. Jay Lombard

I have read lots of books and heard lots of sermons but I still have a curiosity about the spiritual!

Checking in to see if there was any word from Rick on how he is doing.

On our way home from White Rock yesterday Randy was rear ended so hard the other guys air bag went off. He is OK, car of course will need to be fixed.

My goal this morning was to do a quick tidy and get out staining the fence, more than 4 hours later it s still messier than when I started.

Maybe there was a bird in your chimney. Do you have a metal top on it? they can make one heck of a racket...especially woodpeckers.

Yes, I too was wondering how Rick is doing. I hope much better. I have had a large kidney stone for a number of years...but it hasn`t bothered me at all. Touch wood.

too bad Randy got rear ended...it is always the guy behind that is at fault here in MB. Hope it is the same there.

We had someone around our house at 3:15 in the morning with flashlights. They shone one in our window...just flashed for about two seconds...but I saw it. I jumped out of bed and woke up Carl and we looked out the windows and couldn't see anyone. I turned on the outside lights and sat up for two hours...just in case they were still lurking around. I heard the next day that three cottages were broken into that night...just about five minutes away. we live on the permanent residents street....I am so glad they didn't try and break in. makes me want to get out the old shotgun...minus the shells...just to scare them off.

I went into Selkirk today with my son, Mark. He had errands to do and I had must a few. We went out to eat at A&W with Bob my older son. They had a special on Teen burgers...$3.50. Bob is a vegetarian and had the veggie burger.
There was a lot of traffic on the highway, which was a surprise because the weather is very cool and windy and rainy. We passed a speeding RCMP car going in....he was heading in the opposite direction with his lights and siren on and the cars in front of him would not pull over...we took the shoulder and stopped and he squeezed by. Coming home there was an ambulance with lights flashing pulled over where a truck had stopped...there was someone lying on the side of the road...a medical emergency I guess.
I was happy Mark drove because I am very sore today...muscle and joint pain, which makes me tired. The sudden change in weather makes me sore.

Well, it was another good day today wasn`t it?

Love, Nancy

The news about Rick is that he is just taking it easy.

With only one kidney they would not want to take any chances.

The doctor told Rick it needed to be taken out as it could threaten his life.

Driving here is awful too. There are a lot of stupid drivers.

Good job you scared off the bad guys. Very scary.

Waiting for Leah and her best friend to drop by.

Ken,
Matthew must be really growing up going camping.

Does he have a sleeping bag?

Do they sleep in tents?

I hope it has warmed up.

Hoping for a decent day to-morrow for the party at the park.
