FUN AND LAUGHTER

Mandy also had a birthday!

Bring it on babe!
Yes after a day in the sun by he pool, a day of fun and laughter it was good to sit on the front porch with Rick.  Thankful for cool mornings.

Dad took us out for breakfast he would have made eggs but there were no eggs.

We  enjoyed sitting out in the back getting caught up with his health and his work.

Too hot now except to download a few pictures.

Yes, it was much too hot yesterday. Other than our tidying up after the party and I quick dip in the pool we were inside most of the day.

After the movie Kimberly came over and we did Randy's life cast of his head.

Drop off the last 3 kittens today.

The kids are both sick as we cope with an outbreak of the flu here in Melbourne. Eight elderly have died in a nursing home. It’s the worst flu epidemic in quite some time. I am finally feeling better after the dr prescribed some super drugs I and still taking pain medication as I still have a head ache. We are under the influence of an massive cold front up from the Antarctic. The winds are like ice. Pella’s mother died on Saturday morning ( my brother in law , married to Melina’s sister ) she was in her early 70’s and had been unwell for a few years.
Hope your feeling better mom . Dads deck looks great.

When I went to the doctor at emergency he said the bugs are getting worse and there will come a time we will be back in the dark ages with no cures that work.

Ken I have been praying and thinking of you all.
Hope you will continue to improve but it takes time.

I think my medicine will start taking effect by to-morrow.

I am slow.

Dad is trying to fix out stove top burners which are not lighting up.

Dad and I both are very happy with his deck.
Dad is feeling down today.

We all have our ups and downs.

How hot has it been in Vancouver? I am so glad that the last wind storm brought the much cooler north winds and it feels so fresh outside and the humidity is finally much lower.
Tonight there are frost warnings for low lying areas...not us because we have the protection of the lake...it being about 20C still and will live on a hill, one of the highest places in VB.

I am glad you went to emergency and got the drugs you need for that bladder infection, Beth. it can become nasty so quickly. My poor mother in law used to suffer from them. Drink lots of cranberry juice.
