OPHELIA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

                                                She loved eating her cake

Kim and Sandra
She liked her present with the sparkles on
Grama Susan has fun too

There were even decorations hanging around.
A lighter had to be borrowed to light her candle.
I thought I took a picture of her cake but I guess I did not.
Too bad it was a beautiful cake and even some gluten free cake for me.

It was a cold and windy day at Bear Creek Park.  Ophelia did not mind but enjoyed her day.  It would start to rain just as we where the first to leave.
Craig wins the Best Daddy of the day award!
Dad and I dropped into the wrong party first but they invited us to stay.

It was a cold and chilly day and Sandra had warned me to wear warm clothes.

We had fun in spite of the chilly day.
We could see the rain clouds coming our way
and it looks like the rain will be here for a while.

Thankfully we had our love for each other to keep us warm.

Love is what gives life meaning!  !

I had been so warm at home before coming to the park as I was cutting the grass before the rain came so I got quite chilled cooling down at the park.

It is always nice the FIRST little bit of cool air at the beginning of fall, but will be dreaming of warm summer days soon enough.

Trying to be tough and not turn on the furnace, will see how long that lasts.

Now wasn't that a party in then park! Lovely photos of the princess...( Birthday Girl ) and her family. She is such a pretty little girl...not really a baby anymore. Growing up so quickly to walk and talk and all those exciting things.

Good to hear that Panteli arrived safely as well. I imagine it is no easy feat to fly to the Cayman's.

Also good to hear that Rick is back to work and there were no ill effects from the surgery.

It was a brrr morning for us and we turned on our baseboard heaters...they are electric and we really like them because we can choose the temperature for each room. BUT hydro will be going up 56% over the next 7 years and that is a lot when we already pay $200 a month. We have one of the cheapest rates in Canada due to all the hydro electric dams we have up north.

It was a busy day and the highlight was a visit with our Granddaughter who drove from the city. She is off to work right across the province tomorrow...she is studying engineering and will be an environment engineer when she graduates next year. She is 23. Love her to pieces. We made plans for Thanksgiving supper....she will come and give me a hand. YAY! She will be away working until then. A long time to be away from family.

It was another good day,

wishing you both a lovely evening...( carl is all set to watch NFL football ) YUK...good thing I have my own tv!

Love Nancy

Cute little Ophelia is adorable. Hope the birthday celebrations were great. Went for a gender reveal party of my best friend at one of the magnificent San Francisco venues few weeks back. It was a baby girl theme and yes she is already in the world. Planning a party surprise for them.
