THREE CUPS OF TEA

Dad is reading "Three Cups of Tea" It is about a mountaineer named Greg Mortenson who drifts into an impoverished Pakistan village and promises to return and build schools. "The first time you share tea with a Balti, you are a stranger.
The second time you share a cup of tea, you are an honored guest.
The third time you become family, we are prepared to do anything even die."

Greg Mortenson was taught an important lesson in life. There is time to slow down and build friendships that are as important as the building projects. We can all learn from each other.
