We are being held captive by our lack of knowledge about computers.
Sometimes what seems like a disaster can turn into the perfect plan. Like Paul in this story in Acts ends up in jail which is house arrest. He has guards to protect him and is free to write and receive letters. He was in chains but allowed to have meetings there and to preach the gospel.
He was fed and clothed and sheltered and kept safe and was free to carry on his mission that he felt was his purpose in life. So good did come out of his captivity.
We discovered our own computer had been taken captive, or as they say hijacked.
Our day started out in a very confusing way when Rick told us our e-mail had been hacked into and a strange note put on saying we were robbed in Manilla and needed money to get home. Fortunately Ranu had discovered this error and we are so grateful she did.
Dad was on the computer for hours changing his code identification and we both found the whole business disconcerting, extremely upsetting and confusing. We had had protection but why did it not protect us?
We had several friends phone and we had some good talks. Carol and Panteli dropped by with their coffee and muffins and helped us to figure things out to some degree.
Later in the day Sandra dropped by to show us the amazing things she had picked up at Value Village and was going to send off to Mary.
Sandra had no idea about our computer and when she tried to send a message it got her email mixed up also. I think the important thing is that no one use that email at all. Right?
We ended up having a real party with Theresa arriving with Ben and Morgan and then Carol came to pick them up and have them stay for the weekend. They have a great time with her and Panteli.
After they left us three ladies went out with grandpa to use his gift certificate he had received from promoting the school where Kim is going taking her Real Estate class.
We ended up having a delightful day with all our family. Good to be in from the pouring rain and have our little fireplace take the chill off.
We are back home and dad is still on the computer. Do not send us any email.

Did Dad change his password ? That should fix it . My email was hacked about 6 months ago. Sent out about 500 emails from my address book.
No harm in the end.
