INSIDE OUT

It is hard to see when you are in the dark.  So consequently I put my top on inside out.  This would continue to describe my day all day.  Both dad and I felt strongly that we should go into town to be with Eileen.  We spent the afternoon sitting by her dying beside and be a comfort to her son Bill who had just arrived and who was waiting for for his brothers to be with him.
We had not foreseen  this as being a part of  our lives right at this time.
The  unexpected changes our plans so very often.
Ken was the first one up followed by a sleepy little one.P8142117
During the day she was very tired and her voice started to get hoarse.
By supper time she was definitely unwell with a fever .  I felt concern and sadness seeing her unwell.  But with children we know that they easily get colds and after such a long trip even adults are prone to getting sick.

She sits snuggles with her mom and she and  watch Matthew play his games on his I-pod thing.  After Matthew played guess what animal  am.  I did guess a few right especially when he would tell me what sound the name made to start with.
They have seen squirrels and cats but on raccoons.

Dad tells another story.

Smiles light up our day!  Dad and I will drive into Vancouver for his eye exam today,  Rained yesterday and is dull this morning.  So far I am the only one up.
Expecting Shawna and Stephen to come by with Sandra who has kindly offered a casserole for supper.

Sorry to disapoint, no supper coming from our house today. We were very late at the car lots, plus had another showing at our house yesterday so had to quickly cut the back grass and tidy before we headed over there. Hope everyone feels better today. Sandra
