CIVILIZATION

DSCN0645

I STOP THE TRAFFIC TO CROSS THE ROAD.

I had wakened early as I usually do.  Ken was up when I got home and he and Melina went for their walk.  Matthew came downstairs and was sad seeing neither his mom or dad in the room.  I offered to read a story and he came and sat by me.

Later in the morning all the children were starting to feel homesick so they gathered up all the money they could find to send it to Nona to come and visit.  They were very happy hunting for coins and putting them in an envelope which was later mailed.

There is never a dull moment here, sometimes laughter and other times loud wailing and crying. They shopped at Wall Mart and Jesse was able to purchase some gun stuff(?).  Ken had to sign for them.  They had chippies from MacDonald's.

Matthew adds to his new collection of dogs with his eagle from Grouse.  While they were there they saw some bears and a coyote, an eagle a owl and a wolf.  It was a real adventure for them.  It is good to see them being so active.

I have been thinking of Eileen so dad and I drove into the hospice.  She is in a deep coma and it will be a relieve when she passes.  She has been cared for with dignity for her person.  It has been so sad seeing her body shrink before our eyes.  Left again with tears in my eyes.

This is important to the growth of us all.

Matthew says he cannot believe he is in Canada,

Today they really are going to Kelowna!
