BELONGING

Eating together at Carol and Panteli's

Ben smiles even after losing the game.

This world needs every single one of us whether we are old or young, or bright or slow,  talented or ordinary.
In fact when I look at all the bright and famous people in the world I am amazed at how messed up we still are.  The same mistakes, the same cruelty, violence, shame and prejudice and injustice carries on.

Life is more worth living when you belong in a family.  Some of you are having troubles at work and others health problems but as long as we have each other things will work out.

Dad and I feel that we cannot help as much as we would like to.
When I look at older people now I am aware that they have been through a lot in life and have many stories they could share.  I believe that I have a deeper sense of what is important.  I care and I can listen and be there for you.

It is good that children with special needs are being included in our schools.  Teachers do need extra help because of this.  Teachers are important so I hope the ones here soon work out their problems and school can start again.

I needed a helping hand and a first-aid attendant at Ben's game when I feel flat on my face.  I was trying to run and I slipped.  I had a scarped knee and a sore back but very fortunate I was not hurt.
I have helped others and at times I can still do so but I am thankful when others reach out to help me or dad.

More and more we need also to help each other.

Love is the glue that binds us together!

Now, why isn't dad grabbing the camera and taking a picture of you getting bandaged up, that would be interesting to see. I was not able to get onto the web site I need to start my school. Will try again today. Sandra

Dad was walking ahead with Carol and did not even notice with the crowd of people around.
No bandages just tea and sympathy.

Hope you can get on the web site today. Must be very annoying.

Wanted to bring you a potted plant but it was a miserable day.
Wanted to phone but thought you wanted rest.

Kim and I were resting.
Dad has a new GPS which has given him new interest in life.

I am glad you didn`t break any bones when you took the tumble, Beth. Rest up and heal those scrapes and sore back!

Yes, the world really hasn`t changed much over millenniums
, as far as violence goes...it is still barbaric...with beheading and war crimes. I am so thankful that we live in Canada, a peaceful country in contrast to many in the world.

I am off to see the specialist about the strep infection and bronchitis and pneumonia I had in May.

Have a great day,

Love, Nancy

I think running from now on might not be such a good idea.
