Dad and I were so sad to miss what was another excellent party. The sun peeked out and there was a lot of splashing in the pool. No picture of Ben and Justice maybe they were still diving and swimming. Morgan stayed in a long time too. Carol and Panteli had already left so no picture.

Yes, it was another great party. It is nice to meet new people and I am happy that everyone feels comfortable knowing they can bring any one along. I may not have the prettiest house, but I strive to have the most welcoming!

Beth, I am so glad the camera made it to the party so you have the photos to post for us all to see. That is a cute one of Morgan making a face and little one copying her.
Too bad you and Larry weren't feeling up to going, but that is how it goes for us older folks, right? Some good days and some bad. Just have to "go with the flow".
We finally have kicked that hug rain storm out of here and the sun is shining...my goodness it was so gloomy and wet we almost thought we lived on the west coast! July is usually dry, sunny and hot. They say the heat is coming next week. I am just glad to be able to hang out my laundry! It has been weeks of using the dryer.
Carl's cousin, Fred, is in a nursing home and doesn't have long to live. He is 90. His brother, Leonard is in another nursing home....they brought Leonard over to see his brother and boy were there tears....they hadn't been together in years. Carl was always close to both of them. They grew up together and they are doubly related...Carl's aunt married Carl's cousin married his aunt...of course they were from different sides of Carl's family. It is really amazing how much the cousin have in common. More like brothers and sisters.
Well, I am going to get busy. I am working on two workshops this week and that is a lot of organizing. Tomorrow is the teens class where we will paint in watercolour, foxes at play in the wintertime. Next Wed is a canvas floor cloth workshop. Did I say how much I love to teach? Yes, I know I have! haha. music and art. Sooo blessed.

What a wonderful family you have, so many children and babies . l am jealous l am telling my grandchildren that l would like some great grandchildren but of course they are not listening . they are too busy getting strings of letters after their names and then of course they will want to work so that they can repay their student loans WE ENJOYED THE PLAY LAST NIGHT the actors were very good l actually cried when the young people died. We are off to the cariboo cottage today so l will be out or touch for the next few days . Love, Jane.
